You should take a look at my list of recommended Adept IIIs, should answer many of your questions:http://eq2.eqsummoners.com/viewtopic.php?t=1552

![]() Once they bump our pet's DPS, then getting a fire pet adept for grouping will be a good idea. |

![]() Right now, you're best off either rolling an alt or be very very patient. One Adept pet you want/need/can't do much without is the Tellurian line... the rest is moot at this point in time. DoT's about the same - upgrade the ones that lower resists on mobs, the rest isn't important with the recent change to damage-mitigation and resists on mobs. All in all, we're broke and fixes aren't very forthcoming anytime soon.

For pets just worry about the tellurian line. Igneous is pretty sad even if you take it to adept3. Hero should last you until you've got enough cash for the adept III. Petrify is a good one to take to adept level. You'll use it constantly till it stops working, then you'll weep for the loss. Handy when fighting ^^ mobs solo too, if you don't mind running a bit while it refreshes when you get aggro. Power xfers skills are a good investment, but since you're not raiding and if you use good drink you'll never have lower power than the healers.. so why bother? Fireseed is a definate adeptIII only spell. Extremly useful when solo, great addition when grouping, outstanding when you get hunters or group with a nec, and uber when you raid. Love this spell more than I loved petrify, and thats saying alot. In scout/fighter heavy parties its even more useful than a [Removed for Content] out tellurian pet. AppVI all the way on pretty much everything else. Get em before you hit that level and take the time at the begining of the level to track down the next appVI. It feels alot less painful than trying to upgrade 5 abilities at once. :p In order of usefulness I'd get Petrify Fireseed Pet heals Pet buffs Tellurian soilder adeptIII (will have more than enough time to save for it, hero takes a while to get noticably worse than soilder, espcially when you group) Any cheap dot/dd upgrades Power xfer type sells Other buffs. All in all which you get first depends on your cash flow, what type of training options you picked, and your play style. I group alot so fireseed makes a bigger dps increase than any of the dots you get. Plus, you'll find certain spells are common in adept I format and are cheap to get. Stuff like shattered ground, seism, and bludgeoning earth I got for less than a gold. Shards of Ice I got in trade for some t3 food... If you solo alot you'll concentrate more on tellurian adepts, pet heals, pet buffs and then the rest.
