Well I Logged on Today and was pleasantly Suprised

Of course after patch day and oh the last 4 patches to be precise I logged on my character with a deep empty feeling. The feeling of knowing that I was yet taken one

more step down the proverbial ladder of de-evolution. Well this patch was different, I am very pleased to announce that we came out unscathed in this patch. While that may not be much given the past history of patches and illusionist i would be thanking whatever higher power that be!

I am happy for you, but I consider the loss fo ego shock a MASSIVE nerf. and I am not ussually given to exaguration. we lost a root there.

Are you serious?

Since expansion we got a pet who has a GREAT root. Terrifying visions works just fine. I mentioned this elsewhere, I havent even LOOKED at ego shock since like last May and I solo just fine.

People should be upset about them NOT fixing the spells we are supposed to use at 60

I am serious. The root component was incredibly useful. Sure, we have an uncontrollable root from our pet, but its not at all the same as have a second root under my control. I used ego shock in nearly every non-epic battle. Our nuke/mez pails in comparison; I almost never cast it.

well i noticed the rot has a 5% chance to break on harmful spells now. With what our pet ndoes ego shock should be the least of your worries.

one thing i am [Removed for Content] about......our root at adept 3 and master 1 both have a 5% chance to break. NO improvement. i didnt check at adept 1 and lower, but i assume its exactly the same.
