Freehand and Hotkey Question

I have not taken the AP path that would grant me Freehand, but I have some points that I now can spread around. My question is there a command or hotkey way to remove the Secondary slot, then return it after Freehand is used? I have hotkeyed equipment before to change them out, but have not found a viable way to have it clear (or remove it). Placing back in the slot I can do already with the hotkey, but it's the getting removed or unequipped part that I'm seeking help on.

The Spell macro I can do, no issues there, but /unequip secondary did not work. I have found that I can hotkey two slots for the secondary and then click the un-equip option, but thought that took too long to do. Was looking for a faster way to switch that secondary in and out.

mine works just fine. Is it possible your adding in a space where one should not be?

/unequip secondary ...worksIs there some kind of complete list of commands somewhere?The sticky that then points to a non sticky commands isn't a complete list in the gameplay or was it newbie forums....Just a guide it is.

but since there is no /pause in this game like in EQ1, how do you get to use FS?

I test it and it only unequips but does not trigger FS.

Ok, I got the /unequip secondary to work. I was using a "un-equip" like the text calls for when you right click on an equpped item. So Thank you all. I will use this then the spell Macro.

Thanks for all the input, it solved my dilema.

Link the item to your hotbar. Whenever you click it it'll equip it.

You'll lose your familiar doing the unequip/equip thing.
