Because of high demand and personal interest, I have decided to set up an overview of all our (wizards) AA lines and the precise upgrades it gives. Please help me complete this list by posting any lines/upgrades I missed. Also let us know if any of the spell effects don't work as they are described. Thanks! I wasn't aware of that!Come to think of it, the spells are listed as "rank 1" when you examine them. Guess I'll have to progress my APs a bit faster to find out. :p

the 2nd agility combat art's damage is modified by your strength, so those numbers will vary by the str of the mage who examines it. at rank 4 with about 100 str it does 200-230ish. shift momentum rank 2 is 2.5% there are stacking issues with this passive ability and mounts or other run speed buffs. simply it doesn't stack when it should. I'll have to check on rank 3,

Btw, the way the Ward of Sages works is like this:Permanent Self-Only ward, which does not use concentration. Basically it decreases all incoming damage by the size of the ward.NPC xyz hits you for 100 damage.Ward absorbs 76.Effective incoming damage is 24.As you improve the ward, the 'absorbed' damage will be greater. So at rank 8 it should (not there yet) absorb the first 304 damage of all damage.Ie. you are hit by a poison dot of 1000 damage /tick.Effectively the incoming damage will be 696 /tick.Imho, this is an underestimated effect, and should actually be viewed as very powerfull!EDIT: I believe the ward scales with INT, but haven't tested this extensively yet. At 70 it might even be greater.

![]() The data you have collected so far has a flaw. Some of the abilities, mostly the ones that do not sue percentages, scale as you level as well as with more points. So the data will not be accurate unless soemone is the same level. For example The disruption increase wehn I initially examiend it gave 4.5 disruption, now as I have more levels it gives 4.8 disruption. Keep in mind I do not have that AA I am just examinign level 1 of it and it is still changing. It would be nice to have a complete table of the stats for AAs but you may want to wait until 70 so the numbers will have stopped changinh by then.

I will test the ward more thoroughly tonight. Maybe it actually does both.As for the scalability of the AA's, It would be impossible for me to list all spells at all levels, i'll look into a different approach.EDIT: didn't even need to test, log file said it all. 2 comments, this was at lvl 62, without max int (resist gear). Also, at the time I only had 1 AA invested in this ward.YOUR ward absorbed 40 points of damage!YOUR ward regenerates 16 points of ward absorptionYOUR ward absorbed 16 points of damage!

![]() Thats why I suggest just gathering data from level 70. Since that is the current level cap it would be a good level to compare AA lines at. The melee damage and magic damage ones are dependant on int and strength, so addign the stats value with the damage number or simply using capped, minimum, or average stats to record data will porbably yeild the most niform results. |

BTW, the ward goes off at the beginning of combat, then regens 40% each tick (six seconds). Fighting solo, the ward sometimes would be able to regenerate then go off another time or 2 before the end of combat. So IMHO this ward is actually quite useful, especially so I would imagine at rank 8. For me, at rank 1 it is a ward for 39 and rank 2 will go up to 58 (if memory serves). It doesn't double, so I imagine rank 8 to be around 150-200 damage or so. Also if you begin combat before the ward fully regens (takes 3 ticks or 18 sec) it will not go off until it does so.

![]() shift momentum rank 4 was 5% working on spell casting reduction. btw I highly reccomend you guys complete one of the collection quests fro droag teeth. you get a bugged drink that gives you a 6.5% reduction in cast timers lasts 3 hours and stacks with another drink (should of been food but it overwrites any food buff and allows you to have 2x drink buffs up and regen 180pts per tick in power alone)

Actually I find your list now already quite useful and I think it would be great to fill in values now together with the lvl info and stats where appropriate until we have it completed with lvl 70 and max cap in a few weeks or months.Sometimes additional info may be of interest like that Confounding staff (from the int line) has the following stats:range: 5 m.casting: 0,5 srecast: 30 s.

![]() Static Discharge: I'm lvl 61. I found that SD went up 20 max damage from rank 1-4, and up 10 minimum. From rank 4 to rank 5 (ie Apprentice 4 to Adept 1) max damage jumps up 80. |

![]() What's with the fascination with lvl 70? I mean, you start getting these at lvl 20, I'm not really going to care what they are like at 70 when I'm at 27...
Just submit what you have, and state what level you are. I'm reasonably sure the trends can be extrapolated from there. |

one thing to note about this that rocks. rank 1 rounds down EVERYTHING by at least .1. which means ayup our stilfe casts at .4 with only 1.3% reduction in cast timers, everything is .1% faster so far fusion wasn't affected anymore and is at 4.9 cast timer, but rank 1 will be really nice for getting off quick stuff. also affected the agility CA we get from this line to cast in .4s also. also another note. It took a good 5 min before my spells updated to reflect a faster cast time (that included inspecting each one). I had just finished off a long bug report about how miffed I was, and poof all spells updated with faster cast timers.

![]() found a bug with the str line aa ability that is supposed to increase parry by 2.0% I posted the bug in the acheivements section. Hopefully it gets looked into.

if your avoidence increased, then the bug is in the wording. Per my post in acheviement's section, I quoted a dev who stated if you did not have the skill increases in it would not affect you. Since our parry was taken away in LU13 an increase should not affect it. Maybe its increasing something other than parry?

![]() No, when I hover over Avoidance, it clearly states: Parry = x%.
AndI think you are misunderstanding how this whole thing is working.
The Dev was responding to an item that gave you +xxx to the Safe Fall skill, and said that items that give you +x to a skill you don't have won't give you the skill. But the Deflecting Staff doesn't give you +x to the Parry skill: it allows you to Parry a % of attacks. That's not the same thing. |
