Class Armour?

Are you talking about the robes? I would certainly like to know if there are better armor for mages or wizards than the newb one that you get at level 10

I got the quest from a guy named Gildas, cant remember his last name. He is sitting in the little ruin outside the monk dojo in the Eldar Grove, couldn't get the guards to show a waypoint so I had to run around and look like crazy. :smileytongue:

He will first give you a quest that will give you some very nice gloves. I'm currently trying to finnish the second quest but haven't yet manage to get a good enough group together to take out a really nasty named mob.

=) I just finished the Wizard armor quest, but cannot use the robe untill next lvl. (lvl. 24). Quest 6 was cake. 16 Steppehoof Invaders 8 sabre chanters 20 Vansoon apprentices and the named mob Celeg Ixuri. The Vansoon Apprentices can be found on the very east side of the map around 2/3'rds down the map. The named mob you need, Celix Ixur, who also spawns where the apprentices are, spawns in the ruins where there is an non aggro female npc ( I forget her name). But it is easy cuz she is the only one there so just look for her and go in the area and you will trigger the named.Hardest part for me was killing the Steppe beetles for quest 5. It wasn't the difficulty of the mob, they are solo, but their spawn rate. It took me approx. 2 hours to get 25 beetles, but I didn't go all around TS looking for them but rather back and forth from griffawns to bridge keep.Quest 4 is pretty simple. It is in CoB ( crypt of Betrayal off of vermins syne). All the mobs you need are at the entrance or pretty close. Shrillers, Scarabs and Ire minions. Also, while your here look for named obs for they drop very nice loot.Quest 3 was awesome. A great opportunity to get some phat loot from down stairs in SH. Down here you need to kill ( dont remember quantity) Cavaliers, Gelitinous Cubes, Writs and something else I believe. While your down here waiting for your spawns go back and forther and kill the named mobs, the battlepriest greyhorn and the marksman. The marksman drops a Ruckas Blouse robe which is almost comparable to the armor quest robe ( it has 10 less AC, but the same kind of stats, the stats just differ in amounts slightly).Quest2.. dunno if I can remember, but I believe it was to kill Advisor Pandrus, some caltoris magi and some basilisks. All of which is located west of the oracle tower. Its all pretty easy; I was able to solo the magi.Quest 1.. sorry but I can't quite remember.. Armor quest starter NPC was Gildas Cedartree btw in Elder Grove in the square sandpit like thing by the monk building.It's 4am and im pretty tired, so you'll have to excuse me if some of the info is a little off.

In east freeport in the scribe building in the middle section there is a gnome. Her name is _____ the witch (can't remember first name, just go to buildling with scroll symbol on map). The name of the armor pieces are thick woven ____ (or some variant therof, can't remember exact phrase at work).

We found Fey rock Heaps back behind Giants and Centuars around the drowned skellys. You might have to clear the other rock heaps and some type of ,snake forgot there names, to get them to spawn.

where are the sabertooth chanters? i cant seem to find any

this is tickin me off. ive searched every gnoll camp i know if. killed off hundreds of gnolls and i cant find a SINGLE chanter. this is the only thing stopping me from finishing these quests... can anyone help

I've found 'chanters and diviners outside BB in the gully toward Sir Jeager's camp. The oracles seem to be only in BB, though.

yeah i know they are there, but the quest requires i kill them in thundering steppes. this is for the VI part, the last one that grants me the robe i doubt bb gnolls will work

I had killed him just before starting the 2nd quest SMILEY

I think he spawned after we cleared out some of the groups of the catharsis that were near the crypt. If your there with a group, just clear everything out and eventually he will spawn.

the chanters are located just southeast of the far northwest gnoll cave. the cave is surrounded by lookouts and tower guards. it also has the giant mastery quest.

if you look on the map, to the southeast of that camp there is a lake then right after that a pit. the chanters are in that pit, they have hunters for ph's sometimes.

Chanters are in the first pit you pass coming out of the Antonica gate, they are in the hole, you can't miss them.My problem is with the Fey Rock Heaps! We ran all over TS last night and couldn't find 1... tried clearing a couple spawns of the other rocks, but still no go.Can someone point me to a more specific spawn point then just 'by the centaurs and drowned skeletons?'
