this is using a weakened ghoulbane and sheerbone kite

Im down on heavy armour only having a blue con blackened alloy breast plate and pristine forged feyiron boots and barbute, the other parts are vendor bought normal.

magic affinity jewelery consists of pris fash vel torque, fishbone earring, band of essense ring, pris fash opaline ring, pris fash opaline braclet, opal braclet and an engraved leather belt.

Paying the extortionate merchant prices for armour im sure i could get the number a lot better.

I just dinged 30, and upgraded all my jewelry and armor (near-complete set of pristine forged feyiron vanguard stuff now). So all my gear is orange or yellow (except that bracer, I can't find the PFF for sale - it must be what's killing me) and with a shield I have 3540 defense. I know gear defense is level capped (upgraded gear just increases the potential defense from it), so I wasn't expecting a big jump when I broke the bank, but at least I look spiffy now.

The AC bonus from upgrading might have been minor, but compared to tier 3 equipment, your resistances should be through the roof, especially on jewelry! SMILEY

Oh most definitely, I wasn't complaining about that at all. lol. Not that it seems to matter...seems gray mobs land their spells on me consistently, no matter what my resistances. But I digress.

Currently just dinged 36 AC 4499 i believe I'm self buffed with the extra 42 or so points for shining beacon, but out of group. Group typically over 5k. Pristine forged feysteel BP and legs, Pristine conditioned oak kite shield, silvril vanguard spaulders, guardian's gaunts, etc etc.

Check the sig for a running count. Everyone, link your EQ2players character stats and prove it :smileywink:
