Yes people seem to just think Gaurdians get more taunts and while that is technically true they just ignore important skills that paladins have that can manipulate the hate list.

 

For example at level 21 we have a buff that when cast on another player gives us some of the hate that the player generated.  So you cast that say on your healer and then with our 2 taunts and shield bash it is easy to keep aggro.

 

The other thing is that Gaurdians have more health but people also forget with our ability to heal and ward we effectively have a lot nore health than a gaurdian and in using these abilities we also generate hate.

 

So yes we have to burn our power to do this sort of stuff but that is what it is there for and every class has to burn power to fill the role they are intended for.
