get your spell crit first which is the INT AA line get a 4-4-8 there before you think of anything else

![]() Thanks for the advice but you need to use laymans terms - I have no idea what a 4 4 8 is. Sorry I'm a complete n00b at EQ2.

![]() hmm ... hard to explain in text :p but um 4-4-8 means you put 4 into the first bubble of the INT AA line, then 4 in the next and 8 in the 3rd one so its like... 4 4 8

![]() Pretty sure everyone will agree on going 4-4-8 INT first thing.

![]() Is there an online AA builder? Somewhere I can play with possible ideas and builds. |

![]() Not that I know of. Best thing you can do is to bring up your AA tree and read EVERY item. I am a raid MT/DPS/Off tank and can tell you that INT 4-4-8 is the best way to start. |

![]() OKay, now I'm feeling very dim. I got home last night and hit the L key to open up the skill trees. I browsed the Crusader and SK tabs but couldn;t for the life of me find anything that looked like an INT path. Anyone care to illuminate me? |

![]() INT tree is on the right in Crusader achievements. Starts with Legionnaire's Intelligence. There is a pre EoF browsing thingy in the web (thanks to KamidariTuibumbi):http://home.comcast.net/%7Emharper68/achievements/achievements.htmlhttp://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=9&message.id=17315 Message Edited by Arlon on 12-21-2006 11:16 AM |

![]() Thanks - that helps a lot. ONe further question - does the 448 build mean putting 4 points into Legionnairres Intelligence, 4 points into Legionairres Pact and then 8 points into Legionairres Wrath? Or am I missing the point (AGAIN!!).

And by taking the second 4 points in Legionairres Pact I have to have a symbol in one hand therefore not being able to wield 2-handed weapons?

![]() Nope, it gives you an option to do so. You can still use 1h + shield or 2h. Edit: and you get one more spell icon to fill your hotbar :smileytongue:. Spell can be used only when wielding a symbol. Message Edited by Arlon on 12-21-2006 12:29 PM |

![]() I'm now a level 22 shadowknight and I went a slightly different path. I didn't like the idea of spending 1 point in that Focus thing to start the Crusader tree, then 4 points in Intelligence (boring!) then 4 MORE points in something I'd never use (symbols?!?) to finally get something nice. So I spent 2 points in the Unholy Weapon upgrade in the Shadowknight tree as a pre-req for spending 2 in the Blessing heal upgrade.
I did this because I really like Blessing as a soloer and small-grouper. The Unholy Weapon upgrade isn't huge (% increase to proc) but I do like getting more heals from that crazy blessing. So my first 4 points went into the Shadowknight tree, and now I'm heading down the Int line in the Crusader tree.
You can reset all your points and respend them, but I did read somewhere that you cannot move points spent in the Shadowknight tree into the Crusader tree, and vice versa. So that kinda stinks. Everywhere I've read agrees that the Int line is the best thing to advance first, but I just hated the idea of getting very very little gain for my first 9 or 10 achievement points. I may regret that later in my Shadowknight career, but for now I like it. |

![]() Great to se someone going their own route on AAs. I'm 14 and looking to spend my first two points. I can see how getting to the spell crit power in INT would be good but you have waste so many points to get there - thats really annoys me. I may look at alternative builds seeing as I don;t raid and have no intention of doing so.

yes, going your own way with the AAs is a good thing, especially with a versatile such as the sk.
