Finally got to lvl 26 and boy what a difference

I finally got my pet and "Infernal Pact" .. man that spell helps out so much.

The difference is like night and day. I seem to use less pwr and on top of that dont worry about my health like i use to.

Just wish the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] pet would stay out until it died or better yet give it a 30 min time limit. Just dont like the fact that as soon as the mob dies . goodbye.

But.. all in all.. am starting to love this ShadowKnight even more

Nice to see somebody admiting they are enjoying the game. Instead of the constant whining, crying and trolling. Wait until you get to end game it just gets better.

once you get 400+ tainted essences like us higher lvl sk's you wont worry to much about your pet only living 30secs :smileyvery-happy:. I have so many I dont know what to do with them all.

haha.. i hear ya.. today i was solo lvl 19 ^^^ mobs some in groups of 2 and 3 in Fallen gate and was having a blast. But, i was keeping a close eye on those stones. Only have about 70+.

The only thing i see as a problem with "MY" shadowknight is my power. I run out of power way to fast. Right now am lvl 27 with around 68-70 str. And i dont think thats what my str should be at. Am wearing some pristen armor forgot the name but its a lvl 20 armor set.

Only done 2 of the AQ so far. Was in FG solo the 3rd part. I just read that str increase the amount you can carry, weapon damage, and your power pool. So maybe i need to get that up to around 100+ and fast.

Besides that.. i dont see anything wrong with SK but again .. am only lvl 27 so i have yet to get to the higher lvl stuff.

I sure would appreciate it if someone can give me some advice on how to go about increasing my power pool.

Just dinged 29 yesterday with 900+ power str is 110 ish i think.

am doing the Aq right now.. on #4. Gonna see how much str i can get out of it and how much my pwr pool raises.

I'm with you there, would be nice if it was a true pet but it would have less dps I would imagine. To get the most out of my pet I "off tank" it when fighting multiples especially 2-3 levels higher. Once I pull, ward and HO on the first mob I target the next in line and cast pet and go back to first mob. It will attack the mob you had targeted and not switch when you do. Once I'm done with first the next mob is about at 40% or lower (gotta love those AoE's we have).

I just hit 28 so I'm going through the same experiences you are. SK's are very fun to play and I'm lovin it. I was very happy to get Consume Vitae at 28. No only to have a dd life tap but the power cost was pleasantly low.

As far as power goes I'm in the same boat you are. When soloing high level groups I'm at about 40% at best once done. Only advice I can give other than looking for gear upgrades before level 30 (Pristine Feyiron will replace you Carbonite =) is to get high regen drinks. I hardly consume food anymore, just drinks. thanks for the feed back guys and good luck to you also Jshield. I just completed the 4 part of my armor quest and that armor is pretty good. Pristine Feyiron looks pretty good and the going price isnt to bad think its around 1g+ per piece.

Only problem i seem to have "besides pet thing" is the difficulty of doing the AQ. Not for nothing and i hope someone from soe reads this but what the heck were you guys thinking.

That quest is so freaking hard, and IMHO it shouldnt be that hard regardless of this been a mmrpg. It took me about 2-3hr to complete part 4 and on top of that lost 2 shards in that freaking place. So now i have to sit for 72hr or pay to get them back.

On top of that the mobs you need are lvl 22 + ^^^ mobs and most times there in groups or around other mob of that same type making it beyond ridiculous to kill them safely. Dont see how lvl 20+ players can do this without a full group and if soe didnt notice about 60% of the people dont do there AQ. Why you ask..

Cause its less headache to buy armor than it is die repeatedly to overpowered mobs.. loose shards.. and the xp gained vs death rate to most people isnt worth it ...another reason ( alot of people say the armor you buy is way better than Quest armor ) .. you sit there begging for help for 4hr+ just to get down there and not get half of what you need before everyone says to "To Hell with this am out" leaving you back at square 1 shouting on /ooc ... "Anyone doing AQ so and so pst...

Am lvl 27 right now and still need to complete # 5-6 in the Armor Quest series.. by the time am done i will be ready to replace that armor in about 1 lvl. (lvl 30 ) Pristine Feyiron

But all in all my shadowknight is great... just need to find a good 2-hander and 1-hander
