Currently the horse runs soo slow that i see other people running past me! When i'm trying to run away from mobs and low on mana it's useless : Cause the mobs keep up with the speed of the horse! So what is the point of having an ugly, not even complete horse that can't outrun people on foot and mobs?

1st, it is just a fun spell

2nd, you would run slightly slower on foot, quit complaining.

Remember that the horse is as much a symbol of a knight's status as it is a means of transportation. It is a physical reminder of your social position above the common folk.

Well you can take comfort in the fact that had non SK's and paladins cried like little girls that SK's and pally's had a useful "fun" spell and they didn't your horse would still be fast. In essence, thank your fellow players for nerfing your horse, it seems like 2 of them are here posting, so you can thank them personally. I kinda looked at the horse as being compensation for being very mediocre at everything else, but I guess other classes weren't happy with that and required we be mediocre at everything.

Don't get me wrong, I certainly miss the way my horse used to run before he had his legs broken by the nerf bat. I'm just trying to make the best of the current situation.

At least until I can get that undead horse. :smileyhappy:

I wish it were as fast as it used to be, but a 10% speed increase is better than nothing whatsoever. I still use it.

One thing to remember is that it is a fluff spell, so I really wasn't that upset with nerf.  Of the problems/complaints with Shadow Knights .... Thats pretty low on my list.   Would like it to look a bit more evil though, give it barding with spikes would look cool IMHO SMILEY

I no longer use it - I just CANNOT stand how slow it is - I use my pre-order jboots to travel because I again can't stand on a slow horse - there is no sense of speed at all with all beautiful horse - immersion factor is close to Zero - at least with my boots I feel like I'm moving faster when indeed am not...
