Yet another attempt to refresh the best of the best Bruiser channel.  This is a channel meant only for the "Top Bruisers" in the game.  You don't belong in this channel unless you are one of the best Bruisers in the game and are in the top/2ndbest/3rdbest raiding guild on your server. We do this to have a community among the best Bruisers and not have newbs patrolling in the channel (which is what happened to our current channel last night). If you belong in this channel (I will check what guild you are in ETC).  Send me in-game mail to Unrest.Phay (Just walk to your local norrath-mail box punch in the "Send to" section Unrest.Phay  then subject, and such. Most of you I should recognize if I don't, I will be asking a little more questions.I'm sorry their currently is no populated world-wide Bruiser channel for the open community this is just something that has specifically ran "underground" for as long as we can do so.  The channel has been changed a few times due to somehow the information leaking out so hopefully this time it won't.I won't be paying much attention to the responses here, certainly I will comment on them, but if you feel you should be receiving an invitation to the channel then I reccomend letting me know in-game with a mail (even if I'm online or not, with mail its impossible that I will forget replying to you when the channel gets made (within the next few days). The future channel is still not made, but will be shortly (after I hear from most of you that I recognize) we will be deserting the current channel that is now infested with newbs. Thanks much.-Phayax(60Bruiser, Unrest) / Phay(52Warden, Unrest)

Not really.  If you would see some of the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] questions that should be searched for/asked elsewhere you would know why we want a private channel.  Its honestly not an intentional flame thread, I want to simply get the word out.  Several others have been in and want to continue to be in a private channel for a few selected, specific Brusiers.  Not much to ask.  Please don't point this thread in the direction to be locked.

Well then, maybe you shouldn't post about it on the public bruiser forums.  Cuz you know, there are Noobs here.  And obviously elitest players who are full of their elite status.

dont bash the post... the channel has been around for a while and we like to keep it small...

only reason anything is even specified about guild requirements and whatnot, is because the main topics of discussion are only that which require such experience and knowledge

not that were trying to put anyone down or make them feel left out, its just that when people start asking annoying questions and missuse the channel is when it becomes unnerving and bothersome. simply trying to keep it free of spam and on the right track is what the requirements are for.

for other bruiser related questions and such i would suggest posting on the forums or searching for an earlyer posted answer. maybe even start a public WW bruiser channel.

Thanks Mirouku. And thats what the channel is meant exactly for.  We post on the forums to get the word out that the channel is moving and we want everyone that belongs in the channel to know about its status.

Might ask the point of the channel? This game atm has limited content, especially class specific wise, and everyone 60 has done everything there is to do pretty much. So do you guys talk about all the gear you all have and all the raids you all do?

And btw. the "Best Of The Best" isn't [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] PvE. Come to the PvP servers when they lunch and make a name for yourself then.

I hate elitist behaviour and the original post is full of it. The Bruiser channel we had going was not elitist. It just had a certain purpose. The purpose was to have an ingame communication platform for serious raiding bruisers. Of course, serious raiding bruisers don't always talk about serious raiding. There are other topics in this channel but we just don't talk about AQs or good solo spots for level 59 bruisers or heritage quests or which T6 spells to upgrade to adept3.There is sometimes a fine line between what is suited for a "serious raiding bruiser" channel and what is not. If you want to talk about doing Roost with your group, then this channel is not the correct one for it. If you need some advice on how to solo Roost, then this is the place to ask your question.Consider it like taking some advanced classes in college / school. The quality of the class can only be assured if either everybody has attended the base class (i.e. is at a certain stage concerning this subject and already has some knowledge of what is going on) or you just limit some attendees to read-only mode. Latter option is unfortunately not an option for this channel. If you open the class to anyone, you will get too much "noise" and it won't profit those anymore who were the original target group for this class. Playing at Euro times, I never had the problem of too much spam in the bruiser channel. It was almost a bit too quite. That being said, I'm not really happy about Phayax elitist post. I also don't like it that one person decides who gets into the channel and who doesn't. It would be best if everybody knew for himself if this is an appropriate channel. But in reality, that doesn't work out too well. If you are level 60 for a while, if you are raiding regularly, if you don't need any advice anymore on what spells to upgrade or what gear to buy because the stuff on broker is no upgrade for you anymore, and if you think you can be part of a channel in a mature way, then you should just send this stupid ingame mail to Phayax and get over it. If you are not at this gaming stage and are a matuer player, then hopefully you will understand that we want to keep this channel a bit smaller. If you are not a mature player, then you didn't read this long post anyway SMILEYFinnster

Listen my children.....

I am the elitest bruiser game-wide.....

I was trained by chuck norris.....

  I have uber loot.....

My STR and AGI aver over 400 solo, with STA over 220......

I was trained by Chuck Norris......

Now, after establishing my divine right as King of the bruisers..... I do declare only the elitist bruisers shall be in Phay's royal Bruiser channel.
there, we shall say things like OMG we R0CKZ0rZZZZ!... and Check THIS out!   [Flame Etched Gi of the Draconic Disciple] !!!!!!

Only those with Ginormous E-Peens can be as leet as me!

BTW this is a joke... anyways if you want a casual worldwide bruiser channel, just make one.  It's easy.

I'm just wondering what Phayax did to be "master of all who enter"? I mean I'm pretty sure The Best of the Best contests died in EQ. So what is it that makes you so much better then everyone else? The guild you are in? Huh I remember alot of BotB contest being wont by toons not in raiding guilds.I'm just wondering why we should all be hailing Phayax.

Your  a little warlock named aurelius. It's one thing to call him an elitest, its another to stomp on his nuts when your not even part of the class. Your not on the 1st 2nd or 3rd best guild on your server, your not a bruiser, [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] off.

some people can be SUCH morons.   Phay has done PLENTY for the bruiser community.   If you don't see it then you must be blind.   Phay is also in communication with many of the most active bruisers, who frequent the bruiser channel taht lizardling made a few months back.  Phay is offering to recreate that channel ina  more secure method, to help us, being that his server isn't going to change.

All you guys who wanna talk trash about Phay.... why don't YOU maintain the T6 brawler gear list, and all teh essential guides that are on this forum.   Why don't you try doing HALF as much as he has.

Not to be rude or anything but last I checked you wernt in any guild so how can you fall under the guidelines of your own rules? Ive been in both the bruiser channels since the day they were made and have seen the same thing happen to them both. The same thing will happen to this channel. Only thing we can hopefor is that it doesnt end up being like the guardian channel.

If this channel is to be made I dont think posting about it on bruiser forums is the way to go either. One of the only reasons the channel stayed free of so many of the lower level bruisers and what not is cause it was kept secretive. Not only the name but the whole existence of the channel wasnt really known to most. You will notice after people start talking about the channel to there friends word gets around. I still being in the old "topbruisers" channel after about 3 weeks of the new one being made heared alot of talk in that channel about our new one and how they could somehow get in.

And for the people who think that it takes no skill to play this game? You are right it doesnt take skill when your raiding lockjaw and T5 epic zones with full raids. Go clear out PP:R go do pedestal of the sky. Heck go get a world first on the djinn master with your uber leet no needing skills to do anything. Skills are the difference like someone said above between you asking whats the best group i could form to do Roost and asking for advice to SOLO roost.

But anyways ill probably be in this channel anyways just for the few weeks its free of the low level quests and what not but i still dont agree with the way the channel was thrown out here in the public. Name or not people will find there way into the channel andit will end up like all the others. Atleats untill they give you some controll over channels maybe commands for the creator and whom ever they choose to have them.

Seriously, get off Phays nuts!

Being helpful and trying to offer something many of us want is not elitest. I fo one love the idea and I am in no way Elitest.

What it does is gives us Bruisers that are Raiding every night of the week some place to go when we have questions for other Bruisers that raid every night of the week.

Its not that complicated and is in no way Elitest.

So he put together a list of gear that he doesn't even have. That makes in one of the "Best of the Best"? His gear is nothing more then "average" at best yet he thinks of himself as one of the best Brusiers. Get for real. Go measure your e-peeeeenis some more.

I can get both my str and agi about 3 points away from 400 without any potions and what not. Stam over 200+ also so its possible to do.

well I dunno  I got my str at around 385  agi 405 and sta like 170   I have no idea where you would get the extra 20 for str and 50 for sta.

Now if I pop a potion  like Gaige's absolution  or whatever it's called then yah I'm a big tough guy with great stats.

Yes this is without potions and food.

For one, I got full dark disciple gear, and alot of other rellay sweet gear, thanks to me being the only bruiser in my guild.  Also, Shake off master 1 gives 10 more AGI than Adept 3.   I also use Tier 6 imbued rings to buff myself, STR AGI STA INT and WIS.   so that's 22 more right there.   I use a STA hex doll and my Music Box.   I focus alot on Stats.

The pictur on the right is my normal everyday stats. I believe i have a str food but thats always equiped and a 13str and 13stam dolls equipped. The pic on the left is my close to my maxed stam. I could get it up a bit higher to about 280 with another piece of armor i have and a weapon switch but then i lose to much other stats and attack. I can work my STR close to 420 to with some armor switches but these to screenshots are what i normally run around with.

EDIT ** I added my stats with both my mitigation buffs on me and defensive mode.

the above is with both temp mitigation buffs.... but no food or drink.  I need to get some more Stamina food.

The fist icon you see with grey and white under my buffs is Battlefield Command, Ogre Tradition buff that gives +5 defense.
