Anyone having problems with Sonic Fists?  I have Adept 3 at level 58 and the thing almost never goes off.  Tried it 10 times tonight and it only went off 2 times.  Is it supposed to be like this?  Is it supposed to be a worthless skill?  Anyone have Master, does it work better?

Our level 55 DoF spell Sonic Fists is bugged.

If you're on a hill or a little bump and you use the skill, you don't teleport and hit the mob.

What happens is that your fists charge up, but then nothing happens.  You lose power and the spell recast timer starts, so you have to wait the minute to use it again.  There is no message in the combat log either indicating a miss, too far away, etc.

Please fix, because this bug makes the skill broken in 75% of the geography in the game.

I'm not sure why others aren't commenting on this issue, either.

I know what your talking about the landscape issue, I noticed it while pulling giants in the sinking sands...  Last night I was doing it in the Tears Grifters house, on flat ground.  After I posted last night I continued to play and it failed every single time I tried.  Somthing is definatley wrong, or this skill was meant to be worthless.

I have the adept 3 version as well.  Is this the problem?

Is the adept 3 version of the spell buggy?

Is anyone not reporting problems with the adept 3 version?

I know the skill isn't really that good (even if it wasn't bugged), but I'd still like all my combart arts working.

Ok so last night I was watching for Sonic Fist to bug. I did have a few times where I wasnt teleported and would do no damage but I would still pull the mob. So is that a bug or a resist or a parry or what?

What happens when a Wizard nukes and gets resisted? Does the mob ignore the Wizard who is trying to kill them and go about chatting with their friends? No, They get [Removed for Content] SMILEY.

Same deal w/ Sonic Fists, If you use it, don't teleport, don't deal damage, the mob parried, blocked, or avoided your attack, but he's still gunna be [Removed for Content] none the less.

It still works for me, Just not as often as it should IMO.

But you can't complain some type of bug, it counts as a melee attack, I can't imagine as to why it would get missed more or less than any other CA.

If it said in the message screen that the mob blocked/parries/avoided it, I'd think this is the case.

However, I've tried this ability verse lvl 4 mobs in the Sprawl at level 60 with Adept 3 Offensive Stance and it still only works 75% of the time.

I'm fairly certain this isn't the case, as it seems it checks to-hit when you are in the proximity of the targeted NPC, ie. teleported next to it. What the glitch in the matrix is though I don't know, just doesn't seem likely it's the attack that is avoided.Oh and teleporting below geometry isn't that cool either.

Geometry is probably the biggest issue when pulls get "resisted."
When you miss its probably they avoid, block or parry you.. I haven't checked specifically but thats the most logical idea for why things are missing.
Why it misses so much, IDK... Just give us Tsunami and say screw Sonic Fists.
