What could one expect to pay for it... (Legendary, +45 Str, + 45 Sta, +100 health, +70 Power, +3 crushing, Dmg 49-277 (81.3) 4 sec delay) I know all servers are different, but any estimates?

It's not as good as Grizzfazzle's which is free, so I wouldn't pay much for it.

You need the Kettleleader's Preserved Corpse for the primary component which is a fairly rare drop off the Kettleleader.

I have a different experience.  My strifewind out DPS's my grizz 20-50%.  Either tanking or DPSing.

I don't know but in my server, the bo goes 3-4plats, I think fair enough as the primary component consider a rare drop and the recipt too.but I agree with Danterus, Grizzfazzle's for free and itsn't bad at all, at least not much different from strifewing.(personally I prefer Grizzfazzle's graphic more SMILEY )

Strifewing is bo graphic (seems to be a bit longer with red tips) and has the best looking animation in the game, in my opinion.  Monks shouldn't be clubbing mobs to death like you do with the grizz.

The Strifewing LOOKS a lot better, BUUUUUT it will cost you 4p+/-. That and Grizz's is a better stick (tho ugly as sin) and if you have a good group it's easy (see: FREE) to get. And the XP in DoD is pretty good @ 63-65.

During our Darathar raid a couple weeks ago, I was MA and used the Strifewing Bo as my weapon of choice.

Fully hasted to 100%, buffed to all kinds of silly levels, and with Darathar himself De-buffed, I was cracking him every 2 seconds for anywhere between 1300 - 1500 a pop - Non Crit.

I look back now and wish I took a screenie of it. :smileywink:

Thank you all for your very helpful responses! And I am dissapointed that the Grizzfazzle's staff has the crook graphic, I really dislike that one... But the Strifewing does look nice :smileyhappy: , thanks for the pic! I bought a Staff of Arresting for a few gold to get me through, but I really would like to invest in this one now... (I was supprised to see how very cheap the Staff of Enlightenment was (at least on my server) considering all the praise I hear about it...I picked one of those up too)

Will never forget the day i got the Bo, best thing since sliced bread for me.  Minor stat hit compared to grizz staff for that oh so lovely 1000+ melee dmg.  Yeah i've hit as low as 200-300 but my average in grp is still 800+.  Try one, then try one with dps mod, then go claim your 13g at vendor for the grizz staff.

From the stats, it looks like Enlightenment is much better - certainly much higher in damage rating.

Enlightenment has a higher level requirement, though, which is why I currently use the Strifewing.  I'll switch to Enlightenment as soon as I can use it, though.

I attained Grizzlefazzles great staff last night.  I also use the Staff of Enlightenment.  Grizzlefazzle actually has a better damage rating and it proc's.  Enlightenment is better for Monk stats though.

I will keep using my staff of enlightenment as Grizzlefazzles makes me look like tree hugger smaking people over the head.  Looks just the the heirophant's crook.
