![]() Im looking to invest in a good lvl 40 weapon, Which would be a better choice? Right now I have a scaled great flail with about 72 dmg on the low end, but not a lot of stats only power and health, or would a weapon with lower damage and more stats be better? I group and solo at about a 50-50 rate, but I could use the stats too... any suggestions?

See if you can find a piece of cedar on the broker and have a weapon made. I snagged one up the other day for a guldie for only 30gp. another 2gp for a luminous stone to imbue, and the crafter fee and you get a pristine imbued cedar bo staff.

![]() The number you want to look at is the damage rating. For solo work where you plan to burn the mob down quick, you want a 2-hander with high delay (crafted great mace is 2.5 delay). For group work, you should go dual wield. In almost every case, I'd go with the highest damage rating you can get when picking weapons. For T5, you can't go wrong with crafted legendary items (cedar weapons, leather cestii/cestus, or cobalt maces/knuckles). Even if you find a nice treasured weapon with great stats, if the damage rating is lower than T5 legendary, I'd go with the T5 legendary still. When you get into T6, the only exception to the rule is the prismatic weapon. They are 3-4 damage rating lower than T6 legendary weapons, but the 12 power regen can be worth it.

im using augmented dual wields on my 45 monk atm, the proc hate on M2 Dragon Advance is 49% so.. basically every hit gives a 200 threat proc (ad3 infurating calm is 6-800 threat) I use this on group mobs especially - pull with grp taunt, single taunt then switch target, rapid swings, switch target, single taunt, AOE( cant remember what its called) start bashing- aoe taunt when its up again for extra agro. I find with this setup as long as i keep switching through targets I can hold agro with warlocks doing good ae dps (sadly it also means that any scouts in the grp are going to be [Removed for Content] off with you switching so much
