The guardian I used to group with when he was 45 averaged about 140 DPS. At 50, he breaks 200 pretty routinely. Granted an equally equipped monk would beat his DPS, but guardians are no slouches.

![]() I use the parser from CombatStats and what I have found is that it all really boils down to you equipment and the level of your spells. Today in RV I was in a group with 38 Guard 37 Assassian 37 Swash and I am a 41 Monk. Now I expected to out damage and dps all of these peeps based on level alone, but what I found out was sobering. Not only did I outdamage and out dps them, I outdamaged and dps'd the Assassian and the Swashy COMBINED. All of my attacks are either AD1 or AP4, I have over 90 unbuffed str and agi so I am not uber by any stretch. The main contributing factor to my dominace was that these Scouts were still using some AP3's and neither of them seemed very capable as far as being in the correct spot, attacking right away, using high lvl food so they kept power, etc. I've also parced a 41 Bruiser I was grouped with and he had slightly better dps (roughly 2-3 pts on average) and damage (40-80 per fight) but not for every fight. It seemed to depend upon which of us were able to get 4 rounds of our high damage attacks in, instead of only 3. Every 39-41 Monk I've grouped with paled in comparison to my output, so I can only assume it is because they were wearing gear that was mostly blue -grey to me, and using weps of the same variety. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the weapon I have been using for these tests is a Lupin Greathammer, not the best out there by far, and its 2H.

Okay guys you have to stop and think about one thing. Some players just don't play as well as others, one person might be able to do significantly better DPS than another based on how well they play the character. Some are overachievers, some are lazy, many are average, that's how it goes. Equipped item bonuses and food could even make a difference in the long run could it not?Example. Today I was leveling my wood elf brawler from 19.5 to 20. I thought to myself, "Hey! I'm solo right now so I have time to mess with that damage parser program; I'll try it." So I downloaded it. I fought a few blue-con darkclaw (?) crabs on the NE beach of Antonica. Avg was around ~12.5 DPS (character level 19.5, maybe 19.6). I went on to kill more and more into what could easily have been the hundreds, observing numbers and playing harder. Then I reset my log and tried again. After playing more aggressively with my skills and rearranging how I did them as well as incorporating HOs to the maximum # per battle: my average DPS went up to 19.69 (character level 19.91) My skills were all app 1 except my focused strike at app 4. Take into account that I got a new ability that replaced an old one, I got Flying Kick at 19.8 I think it was. But I don't think that upgrade would equate to +7 DPS, nor do I think 40% of a level would make this much difference. I am striving to be my best as this is my first fighter. This DPS program sort of opened my eyes and showed me how much a little extra effort, thought, planning and tact would help the overall performance of my character. I'm excited to try it with my Warlock now.

this was while i was using dragon stance and all the offensive buffs i could get in el. and i still only managed a 92. whereas the zerker was doin 150-230+. i dont want to sound like i have an ego but i know the huge difference in dps was not due to inability on my part, but at this point in the game zerkers way out dps every other class. specially when fighting multiple creature mobs. im not sure how the dps will pan out in the long run but right now in the 25-32 level range zerkers are tops. anyone that knows of a higher dps than 256 at level 32 please let me know.
