I love the monk class and I want to make one but I want her to be a erudite so its this just totally bad? I know they have all physical stats in the red... is this really going to hamper me?

I'm an erudite monk. played one all throughout beta too.   (was the only one at that!) and I must say that my erudite did quite well. And when all the others were yelling 'oom'  I was still truking away with my specials.  Yay large power pools!

I am an Erudite Brawler as well(possibly the only one on my side of my server , Lucan D'Lere, Freeport), and doing quite fine. my power pool almost NEVER runs out in a fight though.I look awesome with my Staff. SMILEYnot exactly sure which way I want to go yet though (Bruiser or Monk), it all depends on the Fighting Style Differences. I want to be a more graceful, martial artsy Staff Fighter character with decent damage and evades and such, as opposed to a rough and tumble, 'punch em till they don't punch back", stand-there-and-let-them-hit-me roughhouser.I am in freeport, and if I can make the character I want as a Bruiser, I'll stay..but it seems that the Bruiser's fighting style is not what I truly want.

Aparently not, from my in-game comparisons with the local barbarian crusader of same level.

I'm not clear on the power pool draw myself. I have noticed that the Brawler/ Monk professions do gain Agility as a prime over Strength. What I mean is the other Fighter Professions after completion of a Profession change gain a +5 to Strength. Brawlers and Monks, however, Gain their +5 to Agility. I often group with a Barbarian Warrior and a Human Paladin. They always run out of power before I do regardless if I'm tanking or they are which suggests power stems from either Agility or the Brawler line is power pool efficient.

I'm an Erudite brawler, to be monk, on the other side of the fence, over in Qeynos, named Suridian. It might not be an optimal minmaxed design, but it's an absolute joy to watch the show I put on when I break out the staff and begin spreading the tranquility!

Erudite Brawler, to be monk here on AB, Qeynos side - spreading the peace and hoping to get in touch with Lady Quellious and find the Ashen Order. Can solo two yellows one right after the other and still have power and health left for a blue

Aye Also an Erudite Monk level 10 at the moment and enjoying it immensely. I can't wait to get some armor that shows off the glyphs.
