ya, the adept 1 version drops, just like all the other spells.  I'm not sure where exactly, if there is one area in particular.  I got lucky and found the master on the broker for 2p.

Since the spell isn't all that great, because of the major penalties, and that the penalties no longer scale to the level of spell you have (app1, adept1, adept 3, master, etc), I would suggest getting an adept 3 or better, to even make it worth trying.  Get a spongy loam and have an alchemist make one for ya.

Ahh, you mean jokernaut...you had me confused there for a second. Adept 1 gives you a 20% chance to crit for 24 seconds in exchange for -1300 all physical mitigation and -1300 all spell resistances and -39 defense. Master 1 gives you a 27% chance to crit for the same penalties. This is an [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] worthless skill. get the adept 1 to satisfy your curiosity and then remove it from your hotbar. You dont ever want to accidentally use this spell while you are trying to tank.

Just my 2cp

Yeah you dont even want to worry about getting this spell unless you want to watch your health go down really really really fast.

I use it when I'm not tanking all the time...occasionally I pull aggro and die, but hey, I do that anyway.

Occasionally I use it when tanking too, if I happen to have 2 healers in my group (that are guildies or close friends that know what those horns above my head mean - much more healing!).  Of course I don't use it when tanking tough encounters, but just clearing trash, it's no big deal...doesn't hurt to cast a 30 sec. defensive buff before doing it either.

I agree that our special level 65 spell is the worst out of all the classes, and needs the penalties removed.  No other class got any penalties associated with their 65 spell.  Even more so since we only get a 27% (at master) chance to crit, for a limited time.  This is hilarious.  Other classes are criting more than this constantly, and don't have to worry about insta-death, like we do if we aren't real real careful, and even then it's still quite possible.  What makes it even more funny, is that most of my crits aren't any more damage than w/o it critting.  But, like I said, I still use it (just because I like the horns, and shouting 'imma juggernaut biot!'

The previous poster talked about some of the penalties, like the -1300 to mit and -39 (or whatever) to defense, but forgot that it actually costs health too!  It states this in the description up top, not along with the other penalties listed at the bottom.
