Can I group with people to do the berserker subclass quest? I tried to solo it last night but got smacked around when I had to take on 2 magic users at once. Also if anyone has any suggestions for doing the quest I'd appreciate it.

You can be grouped, but only you will enter the instance.  So, you will have to do the fight solo.  As far as I know, there is no way around it.  If you are having trouble, you may be too low in level.  As I recall, it was not even remotely difficult when I did it at 19.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong then, do you have to kill everything in the valley or just the leaders? I think I have decent equipment and I'm level 19.

u dont have to kill verything around you...just leaders.

so ...u dont ahve to kill the groups of "whips" or something like that or their leqder. as far as the groups that are in the rock circle...just draw one at a time out of the circle to u...they are not grouped, and kill em. basically, from the beginning, kill the guards that meet you in the start. one u kill , i think its 2 groups of them, you go into the main field and i just went immediatly left on the wall to avoid any agro. there was a leader there near by that i killed. then went around the side toward the rock circle and pulled the peeps from inside out...one at a time...and killed them. if i remmeber correctly, u just have to kill the diviners....or wut ever they are....i think there are some other critters in there u dont have to mess with.

after killin them...i went around the wall more to my left and took on the mobs i found in the back of the map. there was a group in the front across the way i took out first and then the duo in the back. afer that...u should be home free. go to the exit again and find the dwarf to get u out.

remeber that u dont have to kill that mobile mob of the leader with hte little welps.

it really is so easy its pathetic. just take ur time and fight em one at a time...cept when there are 2 at a time.

so ur just goin in and workin ur way left. easy stuff.

OK, so if it's not grouped it's a leader?(at least I know where I screwed up the first time.....)
edit....OK, I really should read posts all the way through before I reply, I'll just have to be a bit more careful when I do it next time.

I had a little trouble at 18, doing mine. But, I did it. Just make sure you have your gear in good shape and use every trick you know. Stay buffed and abuse skills. Also, make sure you are eating and drinking.

With a good longbow (Gregors will do) and Gnoll Masters Strike on, you can kill the whelps with one arrow, if you get the proc.  When fighting casters, especially the tormentors, make sure that you have Gnoll Masters Strike on.  If you wait for it to recycle before you take out each group, then you will have no trouble.
