does anyone duo group often pass lv20?

I play a lv 15 dwarven warrior on the path to become a zerker and my friend plays a lv 15 druid. we don't really like to group (no offense to anyone) we like the duo adventure type thing. just wondering if any fellow zerkers also duo group often, and if so pass lv 20 or do we have to join and make groups?

I'm greatful for any light on this matter

I don't see anybody duoing pass lvl 20. Probably some are but that will be very hard I think. Mobs hit for a lot dmg, killing them fast will be more efficient( with more than 2 people). A lot of the quests involve to have a good group to do them. You probably can't do your armor quest with 2 people for example.

I can tell you that duoing is extremely viable right up to level 33 which is what I'm at now and I can't see why it still wouldn't be for many levels to come. I duo with my inquisitor friend which seems to be a great combo, but I can't see why any other combo wouldn't work either.

I think that up to level 20 we could always take on group mobs with ease but after 20 theres a sudden jump in mob difficulty and most of the time it was safer to stick to blue ^^ mobs. Now that we are higher level with much better spells and arts at our disposal we can take on the whites and yellows ^^ again with little risk. However, I will say that the class of the mob is a factor when duoing (as is how well you play your classes!) - the warrior type mobs seem a lot easier then the scout and caster types but you'll learn your limits SMILEY

Dragular is very right tho with regards to doing quests, in these circumstances you'll need a trio/foursome at the minimum.

I have a friend and we duo...INQ and Berserker....we have no problem after 20 as long as you pick the right mobs...(i.e. don't pick casters and groups of 4...and stick to blue cons)

Very viable for EXP....not viable for quest armor and such...

I 2-box a 28 zerk and 28 mystic and never do the pickup group thing. I kill blue^^ mobs in 1:30 flat, and groups of 6 blue in 30-45 seconds. I forsee duoing working well throughout the journey to 50. If anything, it's gotten easier for me to kill blue^^ mobs at the most recent levels, not harder.

this is really uber news to hear East, glad you posted on this. I really don't feel up to the grouping thing. its times where I have to go AFK or log on for a few hours then go. I can't be in grind groups. Besides me and my friend only play when each other is on cuz we both work, so I feel more comfortable doing the duo grouping. Thanks again for the post, i'm excited by the great feedback SMILEY

im a level 19 warrior, and reguarly group with my druid friend, who turned level 20 Warden last night.
Ive already done my zerker quest, (which i chose to compliment the warden class) and im looking forward to some good duo'ing past level 20.
(Which i should hit tonight - woopie!)

I think that duo'ing is a very good way to get xp, but only if you have the right 2 classes to go about it.  Like a caster and scout would be no good would it?  But if you get it right then ur taking down some decent xp mobs with minimal players and maximising XP!
I love it! SMILEY

I'm 22 zerker duo with 22 conjuror. We stick to blue mobs, and do quite well at it. For 2 blue ^ mobs, we usually do this. He chains one of them, then get his tank pet on the other. Conjuror keeps chaining the other guy to keep him in place and sometimes hits the guy i'm fighting with a few dot spells. Pet holds agro while I dont' use any arts to keep agro on pet. I just cast stand firm on pet to make him last longer, and hit the guy from behind. When first blue is down, we let the pet get hit the other guy . Usually he dies before the fight is over, so then I take full tanking and start using abilities to the max - easy.

With blue ^^ guys first we get the pet on him, i hit from behind with spaced out arts as to not get agro. When pet is almost dead, I turn on all defensive buffs and start dishing out full damage on the guy.

Healer would be nice to have and with one we might have been able to take white mobs, but I think with his pet we do very nicely.

Hope this helps...

nice, this is even more great news. It seems i'm really not alone in this SMILEY and Soul thats a nice combo zerker/warden. but me and my friend are going zerker/fury. (for the attack buffs SMILEY. please tell me in the future how your grouping goes. I posted on the druids forum about what path of the druid my friend should pick. and they replied fury. so we'll see if the attack buffs do any justice on the mobs after 20

and yes Mac that info does help, it gives me and my friend hope that we can continue to duo pass lv20 without the aid of troublesome PTs SMILEY

Iam level 35 and Duo with my wife which is a level 35 Fury.

I like that shes a Fury becasue she has so much offense Buffs and can do pretty good dammage with her Nuke for HOs and has some nice Dot and heal over time which gives her time to fight at melee too.

Right now we chain kill groups of 5 (white/blue) Orcs in Zek and even a yellow ^^ Boss is not a problem. XP are great and all loot belongs to us too SMILEY.I remember that in the early/mid 20 the groups of oawlbears where also very good to duo for us.

Greetings

I'm at 23 almost 24 zerker now and I duo or solo all the time.  I have very little downtime and as has been stated all the loot is mine, and as an added bonus no xp debt SMILEY  People seem to think that full groups have some kind of advantage in the loot/xp dept. that's just not the case, the majority of groups don't work well together as a team, never finishing HO's and end up with massive shared debt.  Quests are the only reason I feel compelled to group, mainly access quests
