I duo with a friend and she has a Fury. Works pretty well for both of us.

![]() IMO, mystics and defilers are the worst possible choice for healing a plate tank. Wards are next to useless for a plate tank that gets hit often, direct heals cant keep up with damage. Mystic/Defiler is more suited to an avoidance tank. Wards also make your Maddening Defense line useless. You need to be actually taking damage for the taunt proc to fire off. I duoed with my wife's warden for a long time. Her HoTs kept me standing for the most part, damage shield and other buffs helped tremendously. In addition, the wardens weak nukes sped up the killing a bit, not much, but a bit. Sunrayn, 57 guard--Test (retired) Rindall, 28 pally--Test |

honestly if your wanting to duo with someone dont be a guardian.. your DPS plain sucks and it'll take you guys forever to kill anything remotely even con heroic...go a Zerker or monk/bruiser/pally and have her pick a healer.. any of them will do really. Guards arent a good tank for duoing.. great for triong with a DPs as the third.

![]() I duo a Inquisitor and a guardian, They do take longer to kill mobs but I can duo anything up to orange with out any help. The inquisitor has DPS buffs and good debuffs to help the guardian out. The reactives seem to be pretty good at keeping me up, although sometimes I get hit hard and have to hit my regular heals. I highly reccomend the inquisitor if you want to go that road. They can speed the fight up a bit due to the debuff they have that makes teh mob take damage every time it is hit. (kind of a reverse damage shield) Can't remember the name but it's a post 40 spell. Disclaimer: I only reccomend this if you have lots of patience, like they stated above the guardian is low DPS. Outlast is the name of the game there. Best of luck in your decision.

I duo with an inquisitor. I'm not sure how they compare to the other healer classes but I like it regardless. I especially like the melee proc power tap the inquisitors have at later levels. It's nice being able to drain a mobs power and boost the inquisitors power at the same time.

heck a pally/temp very good duo imo.. warden has evac which might come in handy. with my guard i would prob pick fury just cause that is my other toon and they can really help with dps. really though if i had planned on duo'ing mostly i would have picked pally/temp or zerker/warden
