What I would like to know now is, is it worth me playing at the moment? I am waiting on a roll back or something so no idea if it is worth playing or not.

Please advise.

Whether or not you want/like BG, it's obviously going forward and it would benefit everyone to get it tested.

Let the flames begin.... LOL

I tested in beta and on test-copy.  It was with a beta buffed character who did nothing but PvPed in Battlegrounds, so there was no way to see this behavior.

I hope this gets fixed soon.  I didn't lose anything (haven't even played today yet), but I certainly understand the frustration folks feel at something this huge.

Wow, if I treated my clients like that, I would expect to be fired...and sued...and lose in court.

How about a plan of action to fix the problem that Sony and the developers caused other than /petition it and we'll get to it when we can.  So now you not only messed up, but you're going to treat your customers shabily afterwards rather than promptly fixing the problem.

Petition was down for a few minutes there, it just came back up.

I am not happy at all that there will not be a server rollback. If 200+ people are submiting petitions, lord knows how long it will take to get to mine....days probably, so those will be days where there will be pretty much no point in doing anything on that character.

I am also upset because I did test battlegrounds extensively on the test server precisely so things like this do not happen. I understand that you are taking measures that you think is best, but I urge you to reconsider.

Petition filed.

Having said that I pose the same question. What is the ETA in terms of resolving the petitions? I'm not normally one to pester devs / mods for timelines, but this was a major inconvenience for a lot of people so I feel as though I am justified to ask just this once =P.

Ok got my petition filed as well.  Told them I didn't get my cloak or my gears for winning first match either.  Not that it really matters because if they roll me back I'll lose all my gears anyway.

I think it's time for a nap....

The question is, are they safe to play? Have the bugs been addressed?

Wait, wait, wait....This is our fault?  I wait for 4+ hours for the servers to come back up to play a game I love, only to get my AA's rolled back because of trying out new content that was deemed ready for 'live' servers by the developers and experts at SoE?  I guess my failure comes in the form of misplaced trust.

ROTHGAR! ROTHGAR address this issue now...can we continue to work on our toons safely or what...will all the xp we continue to gain at this point be lost? and also how did a 2 hour update turn into a 4hour then 5... and then this horrible thing happens? i mean the one 24vs 24 map we played in test was laggy even for you devs on your end. buggygrounds more like it.

Please let us know if it is safe to play on the affected characters.  Ive been idly waiting around all day to play this game and now I am bugged.  Can I play or do I continue to wait?  Really want to know this sooner rather than later.

I'd really like to know if it's safe to play BGs on an alt while I wait for the AA fix to my main.  I'm tempted to just jump in and see, but then I'd really be annoyed if it broke another character.

I went into Battlegrounds and I lost 78% to level... I was sooo close to lvl 82 now I have to start over again.  I know it was 78% because I discussed how close to level I was with my hubby last night.  Logged on this AM went into the Battlegrounds and lost it all.    Will we get what we lost back?  (Took out the snarky part SMILEY  )

You will get it back; just make sure you have a pettition in. SMILEY

yeah how much longer do we have to wait..this is really getting stooopid. what a successful way to launch battlegrounds with 200 very upset customers who actually were going to try it out but now actually are building hate up for it

I honestly don't know if you can continue to play.  I would think you're find to continue about your usual gameplay.

Just make sure you contact CS first and get your petition in.  They can check records.

About 300 people were affected by this, so while CS will be hopping for a bit, they should be able to sort everyone out very quickly.

Btw... Please remember to be civilized.  I am allowed to leave my desk from time to time SMILEY

I can't give you a definite ETA, I'm sorry.  I can only assume that it should be resolved fairly quickly for everyone involved with the relatively small number of folks affected.

In Defense of the Battleground part, it was alot of fun.  Did the 6 x 6 BG and it went well, team Won so that was good.   There were some times when targeting seemed off though.  Tried to root people and said ... ineleigble target or something like that, which was annoying.

Anyway...not playing on my toon now incase there is a reset to get the exp loss back.  I hope I get the exp back.
