<p>I don't recall there being such a big difference running in windowed mode than fullscreen.. Back when I stopped playing fullscreen and started playing in windowed mode, probably 2 years ago or so, I recall there was not really any performance hit.. Now when I check, I get at least 10fps more when I go fullscreen than when in maximized window mode...</p><p>Can any dev comment on why this is?</p>

<p>that's interesting. i cannot run in full screen mode. my mouse disappears. that happens on both of my computers.</p>
