Seems they dont want us to rely on lich damage alone and are throwing us a bone to compensate by increasing our dot damage..

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spellart&message.id=67221#M67221

It would be interesting to see parses with the new DoT enhancements taken into account. If we were losing 10-ish % overall just accounting for the Lich changes, my guess is that number will drop a bit more taking into account the increased DoT damage.

Glad the Devs explained the reasoning behind the Lich changes. Communication is a good thing. :smileyhappy:

It's only the second time ever a dev has posted in a necro specific thread... there's been a response in a summoner one that dealt with us as well as a priest one that applied to us but only the old necro bug thread and now the lich change thread have gotten specific necro information in a necro specific thread.

Hopefully, they'll keep up the trend of communication.

I can see if they increased damage on all our spells it might make up for 50% of the damage we will lose. This is typical of soe instead of fixing the problem they just say instaed we will just F&*K the class because it seems they don't like the Necromancer class and it will be the last class to be fixed last or maybe never.
