I got Hand of Bayle from the paladin trainer in North Qeynos.  While the effect is pretty, it doesn't actually work as a torch like I'd hoped.  And on a raid or in situations where there's lag, I have to leave it turned off.<div></div>

You know if you go into your display settings under Lighting (I think..) There is an option for "Minimum Ambient Lighting" that you can turn up. It effectively makes it "NOT DARK" even in caves, but doesn't make it look all washed out like turning the gamma up will do.
