I thought they were changing the cestus graphic

I just bought my first set of cestus (I'm a big fan of 2h staves myself) and I see we still have that wierd barbed round thing as the graphic for them. I thought I read somewhere that they were going to add a model for the cestus that looks like....well, a cestus. If it's coming in the new patch and I'm just impatient or if I dreamed this, let me know. <div></div>

I do find it kinda odd that they have cestus and cestii as two different weapons (cestii is basically the plural for cestus).  This kinda hurts my head, because cestuses isn't really correct, but cestii is a different weapon.

Theres a coldwind coast Katar in the game that has the spikey bowl model too. I never thought it made much sense considering that a Katar is a punch blade/dagger thing. As for the old fist wrap appearance : They were using the iron knuckle models for quite some time. I had /bugged it NUMEROUS times since release without much luck at getting SOE to notice. It wasn't until I opened a thread in the graphics and art forum showing screenshots of the model that a Dev finally responded and thanked me for pointing it out. As such it was fixed in the patch a few days later so that wraps once again look as if your fighting bare handed. Anyhow, my point here is that it seems like they may not even browse the /bug reports. Else why would the problem be neglected for so long, and then only a day or two after opening a thread they respond and fix the problem? Let alone that by the post they gave, they apparently didn't even know the problem existed. Why do we even bother /bugging anything if its ignored? <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Well, if you want something changed, I'd think the best bet is to open a thread on it in the non class specific forums. In addition, getting as many monks as possible to chime in on that thread in support may help as well. <div></div>

Yes.  It was fixed.  A cestii has a katar graphic.  A cestus is Satan's Punchbowl.
