<DIV>I was off-tanking with a paladin as MT this weekend and we experimented with the new avoidance/midigation numbers.  I was using Adept 1 Martial Discipline, which claims to increase avoidance of the target by 30% (if I remember the number correctly).  However, casting the buff didn't seem to make any change in his avoidance.  He did say, however, that he noticed a slight increase in power and health.  Has anyone actually seen this skill increase avoidance in the target?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by PantherXX on <span class=date_text>03-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:41 AM</span>

I believe all of those spells work by having *you* block/parry for them, thereby allowing them to *avoid* the damage.

<DIV>Gage is correct.  With this buff up, your target will sometimes see the message:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A vermicious knid tries to pierce YOU, but Legond blocks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I added an audio trigger to combatstats for the MT I usually group with so I can hear when it's working.  It fires a couple of times a fight.</DIV>
