![]() I was off-tanking with a paladin as MT this weekend and we experimented with the new avoidance/midigation numbers. I was using Adept 1 Martial Discipline, which claims to increase avoidance of the target by 30% (if I remember the number correctly). However, casting the buff didn't seem to make any change in his avoidance. He did say, however, that he noticed a slight increase in power and health. Has anyone actually seen this skill increase avoidance in the target? Message Edited by PantherXX on 03-28-2005 10:41 AM

I believe all of those spells work by having *you* block/parry for them, thereby allowing them to *avoid* the damage.

![]() Gage is correct. With this buff up, your target will sometimes see the message: A vermicious knid tries to pierce YOU, but Legond blocks. I added an audio trigger to combatstats for the MT I usually group with so I can hear when it's working. It fires a couple of times a fight.
