Ran a quick set of 50 tests with /feign. Level 25 Monk, using FD Adept 1.(If you haven't tried /feign yet, it reports your feign value and your target's seefeign value, and tells you whether your target thinks you're feigning death or not)average feign 26.57894737median 28stdev 3.83885948fail % 24.00%min 21max 32Two other things I discovered: If your feign is a success, but your feign value is less than their seefeign value, your buffs still get stripped but they will see through your feign and attack. Also, if your feign value and their seefeign value tie the feign is a failure. Higher level mobs have higher seefeign values. It's exactly like feign death except you get xp debt and have to recover your shard. But it does work 100% of the time.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV>

After 100 trials at 25, Adept 1 FD:average feign 26.58024691median 27stdev 3.379586504fail % 19.00%min 21max 32Failed a lot less in this set of tests.Here are some numbers I took from mob seefeign values:mob level seefeign26 2226 2228 2330- 2530 2530++ 2531 2632 2732++ 27

It would be 80% or so if the mob's seefeign was below your roll.With the numbers tonight, at 25:fail 22 % 28.36%fail 23 % 29.69%fail 24 % 34.55%fail 25 % 38.00%fail 26 % 43.18%fail 27 % 52.78%It looks like a mob's seefeign number is roughly 75-80% of their level.

Just hit 28.6. Took another sample of the old FD (adept 1) and the new PD (adept 1):Feign Death (Adept 1) at 28.6:average feign 26.77777778median 27stdev 3.696416111fail % 28.00%min 21max 32Play Dead (Adept 1) at 28.6:average feign 31.02631579median 31stdev 2.552019255fail % 24.00%min 27max 36Only 50 trials ([expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] that 10s reuse timer) so the difference in fail% is not statistically significant. Hopefully PD is capped right now. I also wasn't clever enough to test the app1 before I scriped the adept1.
