<div>As of right now, the snare effect that happened when you activated Taunting Defense is gone.  Entered combat, hit the button for it and a few mins into the fight noticed that I was moving around at normal speed.  Now, I'm not complaining, nice to still have the same effect without any movenment restriction, just hope this isn't a bug or side effect or whatever... no mention about this in update notes, only that Open Wounds won't fizzle....anyone else notice this yet.............</div><p>Message Edited by Driverdown on <span class="date_text">02-04-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:04 AM</span></p>

<div></div>I think it's a bug, I noticed it also.  I also noticed that there is a patch note about the snare not getting worse when you upgrade the skill, so I'm sure it's a bug that will be fixed. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div>I, too, assume it is a bug. However, it sure was nice to just leave it on for 2 hours in Clefts last night!</div>

<div>If guardians still have the snare, it's a bug for guardians or us <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Anyway I think the snare will come back.</div>

Guardian's does not snare them either. If you look at the spell description, it doesn't mention the snare anymore. So i'm not sure if it is a bug or not.  Would be nice if it isn't, would make that spell pretty darn nice.<div></div>

I would actually rather have the snare on our HTL thing back if they would change the ring buffs back to the way the worked before.  <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

An Inquisitor guildy also told me that they have a spell that snares them too (A DPS or Haste buff I think), but the snare was gone after LU19 as well. If I'm not mistaken, the description and the effects list both omit reference to the snare, but I need to double check it to be sure.<div></div>

<div></div><p>If they took the time to change the spell description then i highly doubt it was accidental.... Anyways shhhhhh its rare SoE gives berserkers cake ..........</p><p>I love Fudge Cake <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div></div>It's possible that all the snaring effects that came with certain buffs of every class got deleted in the update.  And I'm sure it wasn't intentional.  There are so many crazy bugs that came with this new update it is not even funny.  They really have their work cut out for them now getting this mess cleaned up.Get this, a friend of mine told me that one of the Paladin's damage AOEs was actually hitting and killing other players and non-attackable NPC's that were nearby whenever it was casted and one of the Pallies on my server had some fun and cleaned out the whole Willow Wood of all NPC's that were there and he killed a low level PC without initiating a duel with him too.The Warden's entire ice line of spells was replaced with a fire one and there was nothing about that in the update notes. The list goes on.Has anyone checked to se if the snare on Wall of Rage still works or not?<div></div><p>Message Edited by infernus006 on <span class="date_text">02-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">03:54 PM</span></p>

<div></div>I think its an intended change.  When examining the spell its normal for something bugged to be missing an effect in the bottom description, like the snare on this spell.  But the top description is changed as well.  And when you think about it, removeing the snare is more of a convienence change then anything else, doesnt make it anymore powerful.

If it was in intended change then why wasn't it included in the update notes?  Also the level of all our spells is missing from their description as well.  Like I said, a lot of things got really messed up in this update.<div></div>

<div></div><p>They have stated that the spell level missing is a bug and due to be fixed. </p><p>There has been a rather long history of undocumented changes.  Remember when rampage was broken then fixed?  Never a word.  SOE claims that somethings just miss the patch notes.  Also, the one posting the changes is a differant person then the one who decides them, so sometimes there is miss communication.  Not saying this is the case, but its a possability.</p>

<div>Here's why I think it's a bug</div><div>"<strong>Berserker changes:</strong>- The snare amount on Intimidating Defense will no longer get worse as the ability is upgraded."</div><div> </div><div>that was in the patch notes for update 19 additions.  Not the same spell, but it's in the same line isn't it?</div>

They may have re-evaluated the skills and decided the snare was un-nessecary.This is of course speculation.<div></div>

I'm not complaing about it, it's just that I'm starting to get used to it not having that snare and I'm afraid they will change it back and then I will have to get used to the snare again.  LOL<div></div>

<div></div><p>Is everyone 100% sure that the spell is working at all right now?  I haven't been able to verify that yet.  Is it possible that more than the snare is gone... like the extra hate and damage too?</p><p> </p>

As far as I can tell the damage and hate proc are still working just fine.<div></div>
