I was wondering if you guys could give me some pointers on a group setup for this zone. What kind of healers, mages/cc and DPS do you guys recommend for this zone?I know this is a tough zone and it takes some kind of strategy to get past the first room in this zone. The main reason why I'm asking this is because I'm the last part of my diety quest (Rallos Zek) and I need to get some vampire fangs from that zone. Also, I'd like to know if I'm suited to tank this zone, and here's a link to <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/characters/character_profile.vm?characterId=163587104" target=_blank>my current gear</a>.Thanks for any advise.<div></div>

<DIV>I've had success with a fairly standard group..  1 healer (hopefully a templar), 1 enchanter, and the rest dps.  Any of the hate transfer classes is nice of course until Agression is implemented.  Also, the enchanter brings to the table mez and stuns for the harder mobs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I can't get an enchanter, I go in with 2 healers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As long as you have stacked reactives on you and the healer(s) are curing your dots..  You should be ok.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>X</DIV>

I feel crowd control is mandatory for doing much of anything in this zone. Illusionist / coercer + tank + defiler/temp + 3 dps classes and your golden.  Sorry bards, don't need ya <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

The first few mobs in the zone are non heroic, so get your self a friend or two and just kill 25 of them, you aint gotta try and deal with the heroic mobs</div>

I was able to do half of the fangs on my own. Technically could have soloed the last step but found an inquisitor to duo it and went faster of course. Some of the mobs get lucky and can kill you. But all you do is zone out. When I did it I was maybe 1 third fabled with a fabled 1hander. Its possible just very grueling.

that zone is easy just get 1 crowd control necro or [Removed for Content] troub would work don't have to be chanter, chanter is nice cuz u get regen and u do have to move quick through that place... but if you don't find one there's plenty of other sub. classes u can use.  As long as you can tank 3 mobs at once you will not have a problem... just learn those pulls =) and one healer should be nuff unless they afk /sex

<DIV>While you could consider it completly overkill, the most sucessful MM groups I've been in are pure MT raid setup groups.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1 plate tank</DIV> <DIV>1 cleric</DIV> <DIV>1 shaman</DIV> <DIV>1 druid</DIV> <DIV>1 coercer</DIV> <DIV>1 top tier dps</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Granted the shaman is usually the only one healing, however if anything goes wrong (adds, healer killed, ect) this setup will <U>save</U> you. And considering your only going up against heroics the DPS is plenty.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With the above setup we can usually hit every named with no deaths and in reasonable time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>umm where's your dps... 3 healers is an over kill... 2 max... u have to move fast there if u want to cover different nameds not just sit in one spot... which is the best way in there... soooo THERE! in your FACE!  get one healer maybe two if your gear sucks [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], get to know zone and how to pull it and it'll be cake u can do it with 4 people after</DIV>

<DIV>Healers can DPS just fine. Like I said its overkill but its also a guarentee you'll get r done without incident. It's not a knock on tanks or how good they are, its just a solid way to clear MM entirely.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And if your healers arent doing 500+ dps (1k+ for the druid) then they need to try harder.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Yes, thanks for your suggestions guys.I was able to duo with a guildie and we killed the mobs at the entrance. But yes, I'm tired of doing Valdoon and Obelisk, so I'll take your advice when setting up groups for Mistmoore Castle.<div></div>

<P>I like any 2 healers and any 3 DPS.  Mix and Match as needed.</P>

I would say you will be able to enjoy the zone most and kill anything that isn't epic if you bring a coercer (or illusionist i guess) and one healer. All the times i have been there it doesn't seem to matter at all what healer class as long as they are good. Bards are great, mages are great, any other classes work great. Just take people that you know and have fun for a few hours. The chanter is the most important I think. It's a fun zone with a lot of named and discovery. Just take your friends whatever class they are and you'll have a blast, but make sure one of your friends is a chanter =)<div></div>

<P>I'm far from fabled out, still have a lot of leggy gear and I had a good run on the downstairs mobs (from catacombs door to the epic x2 by the stairs) including named mobs with:</P> <P>Guardian, Inquisitor, Enchanter, Assassin, Brigand, Necro.</P> <P>Just have to ensure you are playing with a healer and a chanter that know their toons VERY well.  It takes a lot more work with one healer (balancing out defensive buffs on top of aggro) but still very doable and a hell of a lot of fun.  Havent had a workout like that since back when Nizara wasnt a joke.</P>

5 manned this a few days ago pretty succefully- got all the way upto sage and killed him then the lvl 75 guards repoped on us and wiped. It was pretty easy though some of the named encounters got a little hairy.group conisted of GuardianDirgeDefilerNecroAssasinAs long as you dont pull more than 1 group and you move at a good pace should be fine.<div></div>

A 2 healer + 3 dps grp works fine, but a crowd control/chanter helps much more in place of the second healer (if u can get 1 of course).
