Guardian and General Mellee questions

Guardians can duel wield with apropriate weapon types? but most chose to use 1hander and shield for tanking and 2 handers for DPS when not MT?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS"></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">2. Mellee skills ie...slashing..blunt....go up regardless of what type of slashing weapon i am using i get skill for all types. what i dont understand is why there are different weapon types in my skill section?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS"></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS">hmmm guess thats it thought i had more. thanks for any replies i get.</FONT></DIV>
