I haven't played eq since first month of release. I returned to try it out again for a few days in 2008 or 2009 and then that was it. I had 4 characters which got grandfathered.

Now my problem is as follows. One of my toons was a level 6 SCOUT/12 sage/ratonga. Now my other 3 characters can play fine (restricted classes/races). But this toon, is thrown into a character creation screen every time I try to play it. I don't really care about the class since back in 2004, he was going to be a brigand (freebie class), but it's giving me the limited race/class selection. (So I can't make him ratonga again). Is this by design or just an overlooked thing?

__________________________________________________ _______________________________________________

Well it does take me to a character creation of sorts. When I choose the class (fine), but when I choose race, I can't take ratonga again (restricted). However, picking any of the other races (human/barb/halfelf/erudite) my character still looks and feels like a ratonga (doesn't look like the other races. So I'm not sure what would happen if I did finalize the 'creation' with one of these races.

_________________________________________________ ______________________________________________

Also here's the link to the original thread:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...08

So as it stands does anyone have any tips solutions to keep this ratonga going? From a grandfathered perspective?

I think the poster above is correct. You do need to open a support ticket however, but if you phrase it the way the poster above is saying it you should get further assistance from our GM's.
