Do Spawners drop from gray con mobs?

<p>I have found a few spawners.  So far they have only come from mobs that are giving me XP for the kill, but I see they are body drops, not chest drops.  So, can a spawner drop from a gray con mob?</p>

<p>Thanks, you are right.  I've picked up a few from mobs way below my level now.  Thanks for the advice.</p>

<p>You can get off any mob, but it seems in my experience that the drop rates are better if they are worth exp</p>
