new launcher hangs... been dloading a WEEK

<p>ive been trying to dload AoD for a week now. i use dial up so im use dto long updates but this is beyond ridiculous. i have all my antivirus type things OFF. i have sen tin a ticket 2 days ago but never got a reply. i leave it to dload 24/7 but NOTHING is happening! its sticking at paks/ShaTplt.vpk righ tnow. what in the world am i supposed to do?</p>

<p>ok, it advanced some but was still sticking on 3 files - dyod.vpk, fprt_south.vpk, and shatplt.vpk. so i moved the folder like you said. now its forgotten the fprt file and is only updating the other two. ill let it go tonight (a good 9 hours, at least) and cross my fingers.</p><p>i tried to copy these files from a friends pc, but he didnt even have a paks folder. any idea why?</p>

<p>it ran for 11 hours but didnt finish. i wish the new launcher showed progress like the old one! i cant tell if its doing anything.</p>
