help installing eq2!! errors with station launcher!!

<p>i got a new pc and downloaded the station launcher,  now i keep getting failures and can not get the game to start... keep getting the following failure... please help!!    </p><p>C:programfiles/everquest2/lp-temp/ui/default/eq2ui-global-marketplace.xml.</p>

<p>There's a couple of other posts around about that specific file suggesting that the remote manifest posted on the server is wrong. It needs manually unpacking to get past the issue. </p><p>Try the instructions in <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=495774">this thread</a></p>

<p>We will work towards repairing Station Launcher issues such as those described above but we do recommend using our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II available using the link below.</p><p>There is a Full and Streaming version.  Upgrading from Station Launcher is done most efficiently with the Full version.  You can select your existing Station Launcher folder to avoid redownloading the game again and only brief updates to convert the patch method.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2/" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>

<p>The full version of the LaunchPad works really well...better than the old Station Launcher imho. I don't much care for the streaming version though.</p>

<p>downloaded & installed new launcher. chose new install like you stated. when i run the patcher  it starts the file check gets to 100% & reruns the check several times before it actually starts any updating.  it will say 10.4 of 11.2GB  run for a few mintues then i get the error code: 1012</p>
