<p>So I've played EQ2 in the past on this account, in fact even last night when they servers came back up I was able to login and play, however this morning it seems a new error has come upon me saying that this account is for an underage user and is not letting me login to play. I don't know why it would say this because I am 20 yrs old, so I'm really clueless [Removed for Content] to do atm.</p>

<p>Well first I had a password issue -- saying that the password I had was invalid, even though I was on last night and played for a bit. The link to change passwords was broken, or failed, continuously, so I went in through the SOE website and changed my password again.</p><p>Next up I'm getting the "you are underage, you can't play" thing that everyone seems to be getting. If I didn't want to play so much, I'd be flattered that I just got carded for a game. But I'm not flattered, more frustrated, and I wonder if this is indication of another hack -- and whether we'll ever be safe playing any SOE games.</p>

<p>The parental controls in the account is where your birthdate should be stored.  I had trouble accessing LON because it said I was underage so I went and noted that the birthdate listed was not my own, however that birthdate was of age.  A few moments ago I went to check to see if there was a way to change it and the following message now appears:</p><div><div><p>This feature is temporarily unavailable. <p>The old Station Launcher app gives an even more confusing error:"We're sorry, but your login attempt has failed: Unknown Error"</p><p>And, directly executing Everquest2.exe and trying to log in gives:"Login rejected: Invalid username or password. Please try again."</p><p>So, I'm guessing that neither knows how to process the parental controls error.  Makes it even more confusing.</p>

<p>My husband and I have the same issue.  We changed our passwords and now cannot log in due to the underage message.  He tried to access parental controls from the old launcher but it said the system was currently being redeveloped.  It looks like some of the new code crept in by accident.</p>

<p>more like a clever ploy to stop giving you free game time to make up for it. They bring the servers up, but put a hitch in it, so noone can log in bcause they are listed as underage, they continue trying to resolve the orginal issues that brought the server down in the first place but no longer have to continue adding free days to your account.</p>

<p>I am in the same situation.  I was in last night.  Went to bed, and tried to log in to the magic fairy sprinkled youth dust on my account and made me under age.  I would be less annoyed if the darned fairy had sprinkled me too so I better matched my new "under age" status.</p><p>In a side note I just got off the phone from customer service.  It is a know issue serverside.  They are asking me (us) to try logging in every hour or so. </p>

Guildies are reporting on Vent that their linked creditcards are being charged for SC purchases.</p><p>Sounds like SOE have been hacked again to me.</p><p>And what are our fine CMs doing? SFA.
