Need a shield?

I recently just hit 80. I am working oon my epic so I can progress to Mythical hopefully. What I need to know is what shield am I looking ofr? What is the best STR STA INT Shield available? Or any stats thet are good for me? Where do I need to be farming? To get it.

<p>If you are a raider, and considering you want your mythical I'm guessing you at least want to.  Go into Shard of Hate.  There is a pretty decent shield from one of the names a pick up group can kill.  Demetrius Crane drops it.</p><p>aITEM 100301442 -1543400773:[Righteous Barrier of Devotion]/a</p><p>Not as good as The Wall or the Shield from Trakanon, but you can work up to that.</p>

Hands down, the Righteous Barrier.  Made for crusaders, gives us the avoidance we so desperately need. Plus it looks cool when it procs.

I don't use the Barrier anymore since I've gotten the Wall. </blockquote> No question the Wall is a fantastic shield.  The main bonus it has though is the +CA, which suffers diminishing returns; if you have other +CA gear it isn't worth nearly as much.  The proc is damage related rather than defensive.  If you're tanking, R.B. is better, more defensive.  If you're in a DPS role, I agree the Wall is all around better. Plus- and this is a key point for some- R. Barrier is easy to get.  Even a casual raid equipped with legendary gear can take the named in SoH that drops it.

I am not a raiding player, so what would be the best shield that a single group could obtain? right now im 73, and have grizzfazzles shield, so i just want to know what direction to take.
