Need a shield?

I recently just hit 80. I am working oon my epic so I can progress to Mythical hopefully. What I need to know is what shield am I looking ofr? What is the best STR STA INT Shield available? Or any stats thet are good for me? Where do I need to be farming? To get it.

If you are a raider, and considering you want your mythical I'm guessing you at least want to. Go into Shard of Hate. There is a pretty decent shield from one of the names a pick up group can kill. Demetrius Crane drops it.

Not as good as The Wall or the Shield from Trakanon, but you can work up to that.

Hands down, the Righteous Barrier. Made for crusaders, gives us the avoidance we so desperately need. Plus it looks cool when it procs.

IMO Enduring Wall is better all around for combined tanking and dps. I don't use the Barrier anymore since I've gotten the WallOr this:

I saw an SK with this the other day and went /drool. And I'm still going /drool. . . .

Why is that clicky effect not simply always on? 10 second recast and 15 minute duration? It's gonna be always on anyway, after all.

No question the Wall is a fantastic shield. The main bonus it has though is the +CA, which suffers diminishing returns; if you have other +CA gear it isn't worth nearly as much. The proc is damage related rather than defensive. If you're tanking, R.B. is better, more defensive. If you're in a DPS role, I agree the Wall is all around better. Plus- and this is a key point for some- R. Barrier is easy to get. Even a casual raid equipped with legendary gear can take the named in SoH that drops it.

eh.. you mean besides the 2 legendary shields already posted?

ummm Sheild of the Green Dragon is still the best legendary i think

If you have that shield your a raider and if your not the MT you want the clicky effect otherwise your gonna be mush by yanking agro at inoportune times, more so if your in a high DPS group. I can't think of any fights that do go past 15 minutes, so it's a easy thing to click it for hate on pull or when you need it for adds. That would be my guess behind reasoning for it anways.
