Hey folks, I am dinging 50 soon and I know that is when I get Mezz of some sort...I think it is called Lullaby.

Anyways, I would like to take a moment to ask you all how you use it. I know the obvious, you click on the botton...lol. But lets go a bit further than that. Lets say I want to pull a tough mob to solo...

What is a good sequence to use in maximizing our stuff to have a mob near death by the time it even gets to us. Once we mezz, are there debuffs we can put on the mob that won't break mez? Anything like that...what do you all do?

So far, I am really njoying this class. I was with some players from another guild the other day in CT and I was told by the guild leader "it was nice to play with a Trouby that knows how to play one". Then he invited me to join his guild. So , I take pride in learning how best to play any char I play, which is really this and my 8oth Bruiser. I am not looking to have alot of toons, just a couple. So any help is appriciated and thanks for the help so far, it has made me much better than I would have been. I am speced MC sword and board with AGI line done and now am doing the STA Line and am working on the maxing out the Crit part of the line. I am noticing alot of nice double attacks and Crits already.

Anyways....I look forward to learning how to use out Lullaby.

Really using your mez is just a timing thing, make sure you dont have any dots on the target mez it, back off and toss up the hp regen buff if you plan on debuffinfg it while its mezzed then you need to decast your aria buff and put it back up when ur rdy to fight again

and thats all there really is to it, if you have agi line that poison will proc when your debuffing so i wouldnt recommend debuffing while its mezzed if you do have the agi line

I make sure it is shut off before casting my mez (I do not know of a function that turns ranged autoattack on/off, but /autoattack is not it).

Also, keep in mind that cheap shot and our bellow line can help a bit on mez resists. With the cheap shot AA maxed I have just enough time to get mez off before the NPC can hit me again.

It can be a decent opener to mezz, with aria off, then stack debuffs. Myself i like to break mezz with another control effect and get in a few free hits before i have to chose to kite, or stand toe to toe with a mob. I find mezz most useful when i get adds tbh, Adds are a constant side effect o fclass that depends on kiting as much as we do for soloing.
