Well, I've had two seemingly unrelated, extremely confusing problems with the game so far.First and foremost, sometimes I can't connect, getting stuck on "Creating Entities", "Receiving Zone Info" or the like. I really don't understand what causes this, as I can then cycle through my characters and connect on them then on my main one. This has only occured in Greater Faydark.Secondly, a more common error, as I get it everywhere. Occasionally, when I play the game, it'll seem to have a gigantic lag spike, and everything'll stop moving, whilst I can still move around. The most common place for this appears to be, once again, Greater Faydark, although it has happened elsewhere.Any ideas?

If you could can you post a tracert and path ping so we can get a better idea of the issue and see if there is a solution.<hr />Open up the Start menu, choose the Run command, type "command" in the space provided, then hit Enter. If you're using Win2k type "cmd" instead of command. For Vista, "type command" at the search bar on the bottom of the Start Menu. The MS-DOS Prompt window should appear with the prompt, "C:windowsdesktop". For Win98/ME or Win2K/XP/Vista, type the following three DOS commands, one at a time, hitting Enter between each command, and waiting for the prompt to reappear: ipconfig /all > c:eq2info.txt tracert unrest.everquest2.com >> c:eq2info.txt pathping unrest.everquest2.com >> c:eq2info.txt (This may take a few minutes to complete) Finally, upon completion of these commands, you will find a file labeled "eq2info.txt" on the root level of your C: drive. You can use the Find command from the Start menu to locate it. Open the newly generated file (c:eq2info.txt) and copy and paste the information here.

Are you connecting from a military base or a school? The first couple hops in your connection seem to be restricted which may be causing the issue.

I'm at home, so it's nothing to do with restrictions, I think. I'm just wondering if it's to do with me connecting to a US server, although I've not experienced any real lag in game.

Have you tried connecting to servers that are closer to you and what were the results if you have?

I didn't consider it that important, since I've had almost perfect gameplay in the game until I entered Greater Faydark.Considering that, I might go check my connection to Greater Faydark on the EU servers.

Is it only 1 character or all characters that enter G Fey?
