The avatars will be dropping upgraded cloaks? How will that work? Will a given avatar drop his/her own upgrade, or a random upgrade for an enemy deity? Will the cloak drops be tradeable?

I wish I would have gotten there in time to get my questions through...I was hoping to have Monk Uncontested Avoidance (It seems everyone has a way to negate avoidance nowadays) and Strength Line (Useless except for RPers and as a cheap way to get around weapons replacements) looked at.As for Beastlords, if you don't bring back the class, then could you at least give them lore as to which Class they have been absorbed into? And make it something believable

Killing for example the Avatar of Tunare for a better Tunare cloak would be a very very bad idea imo.

Well Lyndro, waiting for all classes to get balanced is going to take forever. So basically you saying screw us. People like me that enjoy a lot of variaty of classes hope for something new. Ofc is nothing new is introduced to eq2, there are other games..

He's simply stating that there are bigger priorities to tackle before they even consider adding another class to the game for a handful of players who have managed to play every single character and completed all the content with each of those classes. Its basic project management is all.

In other words, no plans right now.

To make all 24 classes Happy is near impossible. Certain classes would cry foul as they would not want competition for their places in the raid etc.

Only if it's Extra Sharp Note to Self: See if I can convince Domino to make provisioner made cheese-wheel furniture items...
Indeed, it is true about the Beastlords. They will never be introduced into EQ2 unless certain extremities were needed. Like a marketing niche or something of that sort. The problem with adding a new class is where they can fit in with the current game structure. Raids are created with these 24 classes in mind. With the new edition, most likely what will happen, mobs could become incredibly nerfed and some encounters could be completely broken.

You got a polite "No" only because they cant flat out say it. "Until all 24 classes are happy" is something that will never exist unfortunately. Read my signature if you want an explanation for that. I do agree, we should probably get some lore at some point about how this class was lost. Perhaps the power was lost with Luclin, who knows. Anything at this point would be satisfying.

What bothers me if that they do not have a list of the classes they are going over, or if they are going over all the classes, something to let us know which classes have been looked and ammending already would be enough.

I think from this point on I'm going to try and attend these chats, only to ask questions regarding PvP interaction. Just with this convo I'm already disturbed with the idea of all cure's being lumped into 1 spell. Will they have pvp reuse timers as well? Will they still have the timer when a PC is charmed during raid encounters? What of the new curse cure, will that be lumped as well? Will the cure curse timer and recast timer be reduced? Thats just one issue I see coming already. I realize most players could careless about how PvP is handled, as it doesnt involve them. But for those of us who are on PvP servers, we need more communication with the Dev's as it takes an act of God to get them to talk to us on the forums already.
