Soulfire Gladius particle effect, buggy? (Image heavy post)

<p>Okay, first off I know the sword clips into my cloak.  :p  That isn't what I'm asking about.</p><p>Guess I'm asking everyone if these look "right" to you.  This was after clearing some trash mobs so I could gather, but not really that many, so the particle effects had "built up" some.  In some ways it actually looks okay, some..it doesn't to me.  Also hoping a developer will come in to confirm or deny that this is okay or not.</p><p><img src="http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/Arvig/Soulfire-bugged1.gif" border="0"></p><p><img src="http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/Arvig/Soulfire-bugged2.gif" border="0"></p><p><img src="http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/Arvig/Soulfire-bugged3.gif" border="0"></p><p>As you can see, I can get the "flames" to even point in what I assume is the wrong direction.  And again, in a way it looks okay, I like the flame in the tip between the two prongs anyway, if one "must' have a sword with two prongs like that.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

that bug has been around for awhile, almost any weapon ive ever had witha  particle effect has done something along those lines at one point in time.

I have the same issue with the SoD reward as well as with the old Godking weapon.. the post back then did not yield many replies either <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Could be something only visible for some video cards? Zoning usually removes the effect for me - until the next few battles.

Zoning usually removes the effect for me - until the next few battles. </blockquote><p> Zoning or re-equipping does for me also.  If it didn't have the "streak" effect, I'd probably like the build up on that sword, almost makes sense..it's "Soulfire" (well, made like THE Soulfire), the fire might build up.  The streak...it's okay, but doesn't quite look right.</p><p>Now...here's how the Qeynos Claymore looks after using it for a few hours without zoning or resheathing.  Was before EoF, so no cloaks yet:</p><p><img src="http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/Arvig/Glowing-Bright-Claymore.gif" border="0"></p>
