View Full Version : Prismatic v1 Zone Restrictions

I'll make this short. Please remove the # of people required to enter zones involved in Fire and Ice and Deception. If a group of two people want to go in these zones and get their butts wiped all over the floor, let them. You don't get great loot in these zones in general. No one farms them. Its for a quest that gives you a great weapon at the end and thats what you work towards. If a group of 6 or 8 want to take down the mobs for guildies looking to complete prismatics, let them. Gathering 12 people, especially when wanting to have a guild only event for a non raiding guild, is frustrating work when met with this requirement restriction.Thanks.<div></div>

AmenPlease remove the requirement for 12 - 24 people. Since deception line is required for deathtoll access anyone who is attempting to complete deathtoll and hasn't done deception shouldn't have to cajole 12 others into helping out with it when it could be easily handled with less.<div></div>

How so? Because you need to talk to Nagafen?</p><p>You can talk to Nagafen without doing Fire and Ice or Deception - you just need to do To Speak As a Dragon.</p>

<div></div>Not true. I've done speak as a dragon. There is a point in the deathtoll quest where you are sent to speak with nagafen. When clicking on the gong of ro to enter his lair there will be two options if you have completed the deception line. If you have not completed deception there is only one option. That will take you in to see naggy where he will give text for fire and ice. I've also tried having someone else who has already completed deception try to zone me into the instance for the access quest and get the message "you do not meet the entry requirements" or something along those lines. Therefore, deception is required for deathtoll access.edit: ok so not required to zone into deathtoll, but if you want to complete the access quest for deathtoll it is required. Not to side track the original topic of this thread. Please remove the 12 person minimum requirement for these zones.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Atrocity on <span class="date_text">04-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:52 PM</span></p>

I still want to know if plans are being made to remove this zone requirement for Prismatic or if not, why the 12-24 requirement is there in the first place.<div></div>

<div>I'll look into dropping the minimum group requirements to allow those that are higher level to try the draconic instances with less people. We'll let the drakota themselves determine how few people you bring to the fight. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

<div></div>BTW when you are looking at entry requirements, could you check Icy Digs, too? Level 60+ can't enter, even when mentoring.

It can be a hassle getting the mentoring level low enough to green them out.

And I'd like to get that stupid Harness quest from "Icy Digs" (Permafrost) zone completed. No way in the world I'm going to find 6-12 players who want to do that part.

<font color="#ffcc00"><b>*** Zones and Population ***</b></font> - Drakota Arti’cae, Mjolni, and Dythra will now drop Vox shards on their corpse instead of in a chest. ONLY speak as a dragon is needed to start death toll access not the entire prizy 1.0 line. <div></div>

We finished all of the Fire & Ice raids prior to this change but hit a limit on Throne of the Kromise King instance, so we'll go back and test to see whether that one was removed or not...<div></div>

<DIV>The minimum requirements for these Prismatic instances had to roll back because they also contained some changes for other epic zone requirements that weren't ready for Live. The min. player requirement removal will return in LU24.</DIV>

<p>Our guild reactivated the game on live a couple months ago (we used to play on test, so we are starting over completely), my guild is trying to work on Prismatic v1. I know this is very old content, however it appears as tho some of these instances are buggy. We got together 15 people and went to join into Mjolni's Lair, and it dumped us into 3 different instances of the zone. Was this zone made 6 man only? We were all chronomaged down to 55th level or lower (some of us where unmentored from level 45-50). Are there new restrictions on the zone somewhere dealing with your level and how many groups are allowed into the instance? With her being 52 epic x4 with a group of friends, our guild around level 45-60 would have a really tough time doing this quest in a single group. Since the content is for 50th level this seems odd. Is this a bug, or intended? I just wanted to check into this <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>

If a zone is one that "gets bugged", does it seem to always happen going into that zone, or are more likely to go in and have everyone make it in (ie, did we just get unlucky)?</p>
