How is it calculated? Is it normalized vs casting time like other damage increasers? And AOEs?

its normalized to 3sec on autoattack but it adds 12dmg on every ca you cast, main hand only. ill use the 12one in main and proc in off. since you use gdoh youll get the full 12 on autoattack too. with debuffs they can do up to 18 or so

Has anyone done any testing if it also works on ranged?

I have one I'm going to add tonight to my GDoH. I'll let you know if it changes anything.

Even with this info I'm opting for procs in both weapons...

I'd have to see some seriously hardcore math to prove that 12dmg per CA, after delay normalization, adds more DPS on a regular basis than procs with our 52% proc crit rate.

-Hadanelith Raswrolski of Kithicor

Well since having procs on BOTH weapons only adds slightly more than 1%, it wouldn't be surprising if they did. It doesn't add directly to the CAs - I checked that tonight. It might just add it straight up to the dmg amount when it's cast but I haven't tested that.
