Melee High Hit Leaderboard...

<DIV>I was reading the Assassin board today as I usually do, and found myself poking through the "Our New Ghetto High Hit Record" post.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's not being kept up... and it shouldn't need to be kept up. There *is* a Melee High Hit Leaderboard which has been broken for over a year now--due to being populated by bogus exploit numbers by over 60 people. It needs to be fixed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've started a thread on the "EQ2Players.com Discussion" forum. I was hoping to get some support over there requesting that they reset the high hit leaderboard finally.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't know if they will listen, but maybe if enough of us post who knows--maybe they will.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are some really great high hits happening out there these days. Legit 30k+ hits--but we can't tell which are real and which are bogus on the Leaderboard anymore. It was easy when normal high hits were 10-15k -- at least the bogus hits stuck out then. Now, they are all blending together.     nice post, as i posted on that thread though the highest magic hit from people using the item in gates of ahket should also be deleted.. (hence why guild mt's are scoring top highest magic hit of 320+k)would be nice to also see that deleted so its not just a bias melee dps post <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

To this very day, it STILL shows some random T5 weapon I was using when I made my PREVIOUS high-hit to that (12k or some such in DoF era against Drayek in a for-fun T5 raid). It never updated.</P> <P>Bugs with the leaderboard itself, not to mention the exploited hit numbers, need to be fixed up if they're to be any sort of meaningful indicator of status and progress to the community.</P> <P> </P> <P>-Hadanelith Raswrolski of Kithicor<BR></P>

ya you might want to ignore the weapon which was displayed before the eq2players-"update", right now it doesn show the wep anymore..besides: before the "update" eq2pl was trying to convince me i used a blackened iron something for my 29k hit

My high hit was something like 3 or 4k. This was showing that the hit was done while I was lvl 22, just before EoF my high hit was 7k with the bloodthirster... the day I came back I got rid of that weapon... So yeah, its bugged. I completely forgot about it till you mentioned it.</div>
