i just started a Ranger short while ago, and just dicovered the benefits of poisons.but i have 2 question:1. do poisons stack? can i use a poison with DOT and a stun poison?2. i have the feeling that the poison are not taking effect as long as intended:while the usage period of my stun poison says 12 hours it usually only works a couple of kills.(is this a bug evetually?)Please comment.Cheers,Pulsar

Quick answer to your questions:

(1) Yes, poisons stack. There are 3 types that can be used simultaenously: (a) damage poision (DD & DOT mix); (b) debuff - my favotite are debuffs to piercing and poson damage; and (c) misc. - such as a snare or stunn posion. These will supposedly be easier to identify with the upcoming changes, but the easy way is to look at the proc %:. Damage posions have 25% rate, Debuffs have a 20% rate, and Misc. have a 15% rate. Second part of your question - yes you can use damage and stun together. Stuns are hard to find. I always have the Damge and debuff posions up - but will save the stuns for difficuly mobs.

(2) They are working correctly - you are confusing the duration with the number of processes ("procs&quote. When you use a charge of the posion - it will stay up for 12 hours - meaning if you are online but not fighiting - or fighting very little - it will still be active for 12 hours. However, this does not mean you cannot use it up in less time. You probably will use them up in much less time than 12 hours. This is because the poisons have a limited number of procs. Damage posions have 200 procs, debuffs 100, misc. 40. When you use up the procs - the posion is gone. (these numbers are for crafted poisons)
