<div>Had a question for all you feather wearing scout types.  As an assassin I have noticed that every other attack I get needs me to be in stealth from behind. I knew that alot of our attacks were like that but not quite that many.... anyways...</div><div> </div><div>How are you set as far as positional attacks? I know you are being billed as chain tanks with your wisdom line, and was hoping that you had more frontal attacks. </div><div> </div><div>I am an avid soloer and am getting frustrated with waiting for my one cheapshot to refresh to use any of my good skills.</div>

We have:- 1 backstab which requires behind- 2 attacks which require flank or behind- 1 attack which requires flank or front- 1 stealth attack- 6 non positional single target attacks- 2 ranged attacks- 2 PB AE attacks<div></div>

Note it is possible to get into stealth and get the stealth attack off (and therefore the stun) while tanking or soloing, you just need to be either lucky or be able to time it well.

<div>You mentioned stuns, I have also read about mezes... how many do you get and compaired to cheap shot how useful are they soloing? Do they have that stupid 2sec stipulation?</div>

<div></div><div></div>We have a 30sec mez and it does come in handy when soloing. We can mez the mob than go stealth attack that stuns go behind the mob and do our backstab and two other attacks that need to be behind or flanking the mob. Usually we can have the mob half dead with that combo. Then stun and do all other CA that don't matter where you are positioned and finish off the mob. I have killed yellow ^^^ without taken much or no damage at all.<p>Message Edited by Ahmuntar on <span class="date_text">03-09-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:34 PM</span></p>

<div>Thank you for all the information!  That really solves it for me, now I guess the only question I have left is where I get my feather for my cap... :smileytongue:</div><div> </div><div>Thanks again!</div>

<div>The main problem with mez in my eyes is the very limited range on it. Having to be in melee range makes it lose some usability as ye wont be able to AE or use hurricane without having to run around a lot (bad in aggro areas) and atleast for me, lag has made me accidently attack when re-mezzing and managing to toss a poison proc on it.</div><div>The short range and longer recast then duration makes it look quite bad when compairing to other classes crowd control at higher levels (it usually stands up better at lower levels tho).</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div>our 2 AE's will not break mezz unless you target the mezzed mob, hurricane however will break any and every mezz in the game, it is classed as targeting each mob in front of you and hitting them.

If you take the intel AA line 'boot dagger' you can solo without being touched like this ->Stealth -> Shanghai -> Flurry Mit Debuff -> Flank Mit Debuff -> cheap shot -> 2 misc attacks -> boot dagger -> Shanghai for 14 seconds of stun vs no arrow or down arrow targetsFor ^ or higher you can either swathe stun or cheap shot (2 sec) and get boot dagger + shanghai for 4 seconds of stun as well.  This also works with slip away of course but its a longer refresh.<div></div>
