Now that the Master Strike has been revamped down to 1 button and base of L&L I thought about the idea of putting it on my Hot Bar. But 2500 damage wtih a long recast on only certain mobs seems a bit weak I mean my BOL does up to 4k and it works on anything and has a 9 seconds recast. This is the Master Strike and it is less powerfull then our staple spell.... Yea its in added spell now and again but I realy think it is underpowered.... I think it should atleast be as powerfull as ice nova then it would be worth getting L&Ls and keeping it on hte hot bar for when it comes in handy. Does anyone else feel this way?

Im not sure how it would compare to the scouts sinister strike and if theirs is worth casting at all at 70.. but yeah .. if you dont hotbar it you wont miss out on much as a wiz.. But if they were to change it they'd probably have to make it a class specific master strike I think .. and I doubt they could be bothered.. personally I dont really care ..this class has _far_ to many problems to worry about (resists/pwr consumption/ aggro) to care about whether or not the master strikes are worth using or not..

I completely agree with HippyKnight, having done the math myself.

HippyKnight, did you remember to factor in Recovery Time when computing Cast DPS? Now eat your vegetables. That's a good boy lol.

Yah, they're fairly [Removed for Content] if you are a Sorceror. But for those of us who aren't, they're better than every other spell.

Yeah, there really should be some bump in damage for DPS classes for these to make them worthwhile.
