Since PvP is clearly not a priority (quotes stated in several other threads about pvp dev having to leave to work on DoV War of Zek PvE launch/issues and the obvious complete neglect of these forums), can all players on Nagafen get free character transfer tokens?

Thanks in advance for your timely response.

Edit:  I'm still waiting for a dev or 'new lead' response.

have a question on transferring a guy off nagafen for anyone who has done it. been there since launch, wanna send one of my guys to a diff server to play with friends who left already, smartly before the flying phuking joke mounts in pvp.

i read the token but im not sure if there are different requirements anymore or not for coming from a pvp server.

do i lose my old pvp gear or can the blue server buy all of our stuff now so i get to keep it?

can i transfer back if i want to or once im gone im stuck?

thanks.

You keep all your stuff and you can transfer back if you want, at a later date.

Like ANY server can, just purchase a transfer token.  You can PvE till your hearts desire on Nagafen.  I never understood this logic of asking for a free transfer.  They've given you the option, just like any PvE server can to transfer.  From a PvE standpoint, there is next to no difference between Nagafen and any other server.

Personally, I like Nagafen... slow/dead PvP or not.  It's a PvE server with a unique option of being able to kill other players when you magically stumble onto it.  So you have what everyone else has, but an added "hacked" in option.

But what about the separate PvE and PvP gear?  Do you really run around in PvE gear, and then magically take down a player when you stumble onto him as you said?  Lol.  Or do you run behind a tree and change gear first?

Haha, we need phone booths installed across the roads of Norrath.    See that?  We have been looking for help for Naggy when the answer has been under our very noses all this time.

I have Hotkeys setup to swap PVE to PVP (and vice versa) on the fly. So When I see a Q I can start charging and change before the engage lol.

EDIT: Also when running around overland I am almost always in my PVP gear.. that stuff dies easy enough with PVP gear on, so I do not take the chance that I will get jumped while fighting in the open tbh

This... what everyone and there mother should have been doing since day one.  The PvP/PvE separate has nothing to do with obvious good PvP tactics in a PvE game.

This is another complaint I just don't get.  Get over it already.

Are overland mobs really that hard? And on a second point, are the people that actually care about PvP still doing quests that want you to kill "Wolf" at "location X in Great Divide" anymore? If you're still doing those quests it's likely you're not going to care much about putting up a good fight anyways (or you really shouldn't get mad over it).

No kidding... this is exactly it... you dont need to PVE or quest to get PVP gear, you need to PVE or Quest to level up or get AA points or get better at PVE...

If you are questing it means you either

A.) arent 90 and will get blown up anyway

B.) Are 90 but in crapola PVE gear and low aa's and will get blown up anyways

C.) Don't know your on a PVP server and who cares what you have to say, you deserve to get blown up

If you are questing on a PVP server at 90 and don't know the dangers of doing that, it means you PL'd that toon and are new to nagafen and you wouldn't stand a chance even if you were in full PVP gear that you farmed from WF's...

I have a toon that I dusted off after ROK retirement and he only had 150 aa and ROK legendary gear when I started questing in Great Divide... did I get killed repeatedly by 90's (most of them just the same 2 people over and over) when I was 85 in junky PVE gear?  Yup, sure did... Did I come on here an whine about it? nope... cuz I've only ever played on a PVP server and I know that getting kilt every few minutes while questing comes with the territory, if you aren't worried about dying while questing, it makes it a lot less stressful... Just bank early and often and revive and start again...
