Greetings Development team,

I like the patch. Just kinda curious on why the interfacecolor "Red"was choosen as a default color. Normally that color isn't associated with seeing for long period of times. It is our primal color of danger. The blue option is neutral but doesn't saves so when you restart the game the default red comes back.

What i like to know is can we excpect the layout to be "green" anytime soon? I know once you start there everybody wants his colors but the basic "Red, Blue and Green" are pretty commen sence.

Any thoughts on that ?

Sincerly,

Moonflake the Troubador from Runnyeye.

Ps. Please not trolling reply's people i am not interested in youre dislikes.

I was going to post to tell you there are a half dozen other threads on this topic, including ones showing how to switch back to blue, but I'm sure I'll be accused of trolling or "dislikes".

I would think it would be fairly simple to have any colour you like instead of the stock red or blue (simple compared to creating a custom player window or new xp bar for example).

I don't know how myself without looking further into it and personally i like the blue so i don't intent to spend my time doing so.  That said you could post a request in EQ2UI for someone to create you a green one and as its simple it shouldn't take them very long.  That said you may have to wait a few weeks while all the creators of custom UI's update their own first.

Just a suggestion

Yes switch back to blue, only you will lose all your saved hotbars, oh and the blue won't stick when you camp so you have to redo it again, lose your hotbars again, and start over.  Oh, almost forgot, if you turn text off your maintained window while in blue you have a strong chance of crashing your client.

Bravo for awesome suggestions!

It sticks fine if you do it properly, whichs is by NOT using /loadui.

What's the "proper" way to do it?  I'll assume it's something easy like a toggle or checkbox as GU57 was meant to be a revamp for new players entering the game.  Anything like moving file into folders, while relatively easy, is not meant for someone completely new to the game, and if it was I'm confused why they even have the /loadui method.  Plus moving files around means a restart of the game.

Please do not post topics directed at the deveoplers   Thank you!

You should be able to find out how to switch them in the How to turn on blue interface without UI wipe thread
